We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.
Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.
And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, Rav!!!!!
Where is everybody? GC6 is usually around and C-mom. Think we should start yelling?
Good morning! I slept a bit late this morning.
I am very interested in knowing if other people who have contacted Senator Frist's office multiple times via email received the message I got from his office yesterday.
Apparently, they are tired of my criticism.
Ha! Too bad if Frist's office is tired of hearing from you. What a bunch of wussies.
I received the same mailing. I haven't ever contacted Frist's office. I think it was a general PR mailing to anyone on the RNC e-mail list.
Maybe you're right. I'd never received a message from him, so I was thrown for a loop.
But, now that I think about it, why would they take the time to respond to someone who harasses them weekly?
You're probably right, Jane.

Works for me!!
I bet you need to register at the NYTimes - otherwise it boots you.
Good morning! Christmas break has commenced. Going to run an errand (in the dark on my bicycle (with lights), kassie).
I would have preferred something with a bit more honesty, like "Due to the intransigence of 4 rogue Republicans who think their egos are more important than national security..."
Yes, Me, too.
You just have to wonder if those dweebs would have been dragging their feet and creating such a mess if Trent Lott were the Senate President.
Frist is GWB's man, so I guess GW is 'fine' with Frist's preformance.
I was never a 'Lott Fan', but I'm less of a Frist Fan. He doesn't seem to have people management skills. His dismal preformance will come home to haunt him when he's running for President. If he can't get anything out of them when he's on the Senate Floor with them, there's no way in HE!! he can get anything out of them when he's at the other end of the Mall.
Did you receive my FReepmail the other day?
Freezing rain here at the moment, forcing all schools in the area to close down; thus begins Christmas vacation!
Saw Rumsfield's projections of reducing forces in Iraq. Waiting for the Dems to take credit.
Stay warm and stay safe!!
Already 41 out. Suppose to be around 70 here today.
Yes I did, and I loved it!
I apologize for not acknowledging it.
No apology necessary. Just wanted to make sure I sent it. I worry about the ol' mind, ya' know!
Stay warm, cozy, and safe.
Did you ever make it to Madison for daughter's doc appointment?
Just listening to Rush's show from yesterday, and he really goes off on a lib caller, who called Rush an apologist for the Admin.
Rush just tore him to pieces, and it was delicious to hear. Amazing how libs are all concerned about Civil Liberties when it has to do with the war on terror, but don't seem to mind abortion, Finance reform when it takes away our right to contribute, the right to bear arms, celebration of Christmas, etc.
They called us and told us not to come. We did the tests at our local hospital, and then they sent the information on to U.W. Children's Hospital.
We rescheduled for January.
It was supposed to get warm today here too but I think the weathermen goofed.
This is a Tony Snow articled called "The faith of a child".
Beautiful sunrise here.
I'm so hoppy that the days are getting longer again!:-))
It has long time since I've seen one!
Sun is just now making the sky line pinkish/orange. Suppose to get up to 72 here tomorrow.
Awwww, thanks for the link.
I was up early...way early...and went back to sleep. 18 degrees outside now.
Oh Brrrrr. I wish we could take your 18 and our 70 and make an average temperature out of them.

G'morning Cm. I'm about ready to get on with my day. So much to do. But quite honestly, given my travel and meeting schedule the past few weeks, I'm totally amazed to be in such good shape organization-wise.
And now, I'm off to get started, I'll stop back in when I stop to rest my back.
Good morning. A minute a day longer and that always makes me happy too.
I'll be leaving shortly to take "Scruffy" to the vet for a procedure that is long over due. He is close to 10 months old.
Any cat people here, that has a male cat - can you tell me what changes to expect from him? We've always had female cats.
My son thinks Scruffy will turn into a slug - personality wise. Right now he's a holy terror.
This is a much better formatted letter from the Assistant Attorney General to Senators on the Intelligence Committee regarding the NSA spying matter.
There is a LOT of case law cited and I think the president is on solid ground by running the program.
Thank you for the links, Molly! I always appreciate them!!
Have a good day.
No uninterrupted sleep for me w/a needy dog who needs to go outside. lol
Peachl, as of last night my son in SC still did not have landline telephone service....1 full week w/out. Thank goodness for cell phones.
Again, thanks for the links.
I can only imagine such temps.
Good morning, CM! My condolences about the 18 degrees. I'm basking in an incredible 39 degrees, which felt like 75 degrees when I was on my bikeride a short time ago, after last weekend's horrid 7 degrees.
My son and I are going to play tennis with some friends today. But you know, this is just not Christmas weather. I like a frosting of snow or at least frost around this time of year.
I think you'll be able to open this link, IG. I broke down and got a password through the NYT some time ago. (I know it gives them the hit).
You rode your bike this morning???? ACK. I suppose 39 does feel like 75 after what you've been experiencing.
