Peachl, as of last night my son in SC still did not have landline telephone service....1 full week w/out. Thank goodness for cell phones.
It was supposed to get warmer here starting yesterday too but that never materialized. That was some bad storm they had in your son's area; lots of accidents and power outtages. Hope he has a cell phone plan because otherwise he's paying a fortune for any calls he makes.
We have a cell but use it very sparingly (like maybe 20 calls a year). One day I was leaving the mall from shopping for Christmas and every single person who walked in the door, a mad rush, was talking on a cell phone. I don't get the attraction to them myself.
