Posted on 12/31/2005 7:13:15 AM PST by Ultra Sonic 007
Today, on the final week of the NFL regular season and on the eve of the new year...
Denver vs. San Diego - 4:30 PM
Oakland vs. New York Giants - 8 PM on ESPN
Tomorrow shall come a new thread.
WHO SHALL WIN?
A new thread will be started tomorrow morning for the other games. It's the final week!
Are you ready for the game today? Go Broncos!!
Also, have you seen the new John Elway furniture by Bassett?
The Giants' final game of the regular season at Oakland. It's a showdown against our former QB Kerry Collins...and the only area of concern would be our depleted linebackers and our secondary (let's see how Corey Webster handles DeLoatch's responsibilities). Aside from that, I think we'll win and take the NFC East title...and a home-field Wild Card game, if nothing else. :D
And Rummyfan, are you a Giants fan? If so, want to be on the New York Football Giants ping list?
Why bother? Tom Brady will be getting yet another ring in about 5 weeks!
Yes, I'm a lonely Jints fan here in Northern Virginia! Which Giants team will show up today - the one that whupped the 'Skins 36 - 0, or the one that lost to Minne-ha-ha? No excuse to lose to the Raiders, who quit on the season four weeks ago.
Please add me to the ping list. Happy New Year!
Yes - I think everyone in the AFC better watch out for the Pats.

Frustrating season for the Pack, but too many coaching decisions that have been disastrous for the Packers.
Welcome aboard. :)
How long have you been a Giants fan?
Turn to ESPN. They're about to show a segment on Collins/Manning.
This Redskins fan is pulling hard for Oakland!
Ill agree that no one, not even Tony Dungy, should underestimate the Pats..
San Diego will beat the Broncos in this one......the 'Home Game' rule....in effect...
Tomorrows Bears - Vikings game is going to be Boring. The only thing that is going to be good is when Thomas Jones rushes for 1300 yards in one season (Team record set by Walter Payton)...
I must confess that I was hoping we would keep Collins, draft Sean Taylor and keep the picks instead of drafting Maning. I was wrong. That kid is special. He'll get better and better with time, especially with almost the entire offense locked into place over the next few years.
No kidding. Even though he's had his unfortunate mistakes (who doesn't?), he's still only played for little more than a whole season. He's young. He's a quasi-Rookie/semi-sophomore. Just because he's a Manning doesn't mean he'll be perfect all the time (would Peyton be as good as he is outside of Indianapolis' dome or without the tools he has that he's GROWN with for the last several years?). It seems many people have forgotten that.
Give him time. Who knows, he may just hit his stride today...and heading into the postseason in stride is big.
Don't pull too hard or you might sprain something...
