Hey, what's up with Fedorov, anyway? I thought he and Carrie were an item

Well I don't keep track of these things, but whatever was between them apparently fizzled last summer and they decided to "just be friends"--the three most dreaded words in the English language :)

What song would you pick for Kevin to sing next week?

That's a good question... I don't know.

He could sing "You're Beautiful" or "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt. I honestly think Kevin's a better singer than that guy.

Alex Smith. Overall first pick in last year's NFL draft. Eyebrow plucker.

And I see that you have been anointed "King"...I bow to you King jonny!

LOL! My first thought when I read that comment was, "Yeah. Jonny is King of the AI Thread just like Jim Robinson is King of All Free Republic. So, what's the problem?"

Well, after looking at some lyrics and listening to some songs, he might be able to pull off. "You can't judge a book by its cover."

In my opinion, he needs to do something wsith some life in it. Another slow song would be a death knell. But, that's just my take on it. He isn't going to last much longer and song selection is going to really make a difference.

I'd would like to know what happened to the strong, full, audition voice he had. It just seems like he is holding back and has a case of stage fright. He better dig deep and show us how he got past the audition and do it soon.

Stevie Wonder has a LOT of songs. There's a little bit of everything out there for each of them I think. Next week should be fun.

Kevin could probably do a decent job with "Overjoyed."

Doubt that he'll go with that song. It's the one Sway got voted out on, wasn't it? Bound to be some lesser known Wonder song that will work for Kevin though.

Just a wonderful post...many thanks...are you a musical historian, perchance?...somewhere in the attic I have a Marni Nixon album..IIRC, there was a huge stink that she did not receive an on-screen credit for dubbing for Natalie Wood in "West Side Story."....on a lighter note, Julie Andrews was sooooo pissed off at being passed over for the screen version of "My Fair Lady" that she got Marni a role, and a screen credit, as one of the nuns in "The Sound of Music."
