The last time one of them told me I would have to cancel my weekends and vaction for the next three months to keep his promise and make his bonus for him, I looked him right in the eye and said 'I quit'. He looked like he had a messy accident right there. I kept in touch with co-workers, the company blew the schedule and lost the client. Pinhead did'nt get any grief. Which convinced me nobody there cared at all. Good ridence.
Hah! No.
Good thing you got out.
You do have a dog and a cat, dontchya?
Nope, no pets allowed, except the occasional silverfish or cockroach thoughtfully provided by the landlord.
This is at my home office...just kidding 8>)
Yeah it's pretty bad when you can see chew fumes coming out of the trash can. I'm at my desk maybe two hours tops so it's open season the rest off the day
My #1:
Not having a job at all.
LOL. Some of those roaches can get pet sized. ;o)
Damn cops! LOL
Yep. I long for the days when it was just sunflower seed shells all over the place.
Most definately my pet peeve was inconsiderate office workers (especially women) in the wintertime who forced everyone to work at pizza oven temperatures rather than to wear warmer clothing. I write in the past tense because I was able to survive with only minor brain damage, brain damage, brain damage, brain damage, brain damag...
Worse than that are the "crop-dusters" who will take off down an aisle and do short burst releases to 'spread the love' in an attempt to disperse the odor.
My welding shield used to weigh double at the end of the shift with "cope sludge" when I worked pipeline.
Hey fat-mouths learn to use your indoor voice! No one is interesting in listening to your conversation with other co-workers.
Makes work like that much more enjoyable!
LOL...I believe ya! But the odor of the byproduct an arm's length away...not good. The cleaning lady comes through in the evening so it must be a night shifter if my finely honed detective mojo is working correctly
Ok, first of all my biggest pet peeve is not being on your ping list... :)
As for office peeves, I can't stand it when people can't staple pages straight together and instead have pages totally out of line with each other AND the staple in the middle of the page...
I also can't stand office gossipers....even though I've contributed sometimes to little annoyances, it bothers me and I try to stay out of it.
I also am bothered by people who start talking and won't stop. You casually ask them a question or mentino something in passing, and suddenly they want to tell you, and describe to you in detail, their entire life story and you can't shut them up. What's up with that?
