Good for you!
Thank you for the ping.
You may want to look into thyroid supplementation to counteract the menopause weight problem. Here is a formula to consider:

There are many other choices as well. Some actually dose iodine directly onto the skin.
According to the weight charts... I should be seven foot four. I am not overweight, I'm undertall.
Glad to see this is thread going to continue. Lost two pounds last week and seem to be settling into a good routine.
I can't have any type of snack food in a bag or box even it is reduced fat. I'll eat the whole thing.

Have you ever had microwave popcorn and found yourself LICKING THE SACK?? I'm just wondering. I've never done that.
thanks for the ping Laz...good thread!
I've started drinking lots of Green Tea....
..I have no idea if it really is a diet aid, but it seems to be.
I have the regular & decaf hot tea.....and lots of it.
Who knows...probably can't hurt.
It's harder for women to lose weight than men.....this is true!
Thanks for the link- I'll go take a look at it:)
No but not one crumb will survive from a bad of Doritos if I get a hold of it.

Doritos are so good. Sun Chips are alright. They are supposed to be not as horrible as regular chips. I get them with my sandwich when I go to Subway.
I carry a thermos to work with hot water for tea. I drink green tea and yogi tea every day.
I gained four pounds but lost 2" around my waist.
I bike about 60 miles a week, now. Legs are getting big.
Are you seeing results from doing this?
Well I have. Popcorn is one of my favorite foods, but I have not had any for 2 1/2 years. Too many carbs.
Oh yes... I have more energy and my skin looks better. Plus the green tea keeps the PMS water weight off.
