They've been lying low since stirring up controversy a few years back, but the title of the Dixie Chicks' new single, "Not Ready to Make Nice," is a good indication of their resolve. It's also a stark, powerful preview of their new album, "Taking the Long Way," due out in May.

I agree. Besides, it's us who are not ready to make nice with these sleazy, traitorous harridans. I treat them as I did Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand: not one penny of my money goes into their anti-American coffers. Funny, I was just getting ready to buy one of the Ditzy Hicks' DVDs; but Natalie criticized the best President we've had since Reagan. They still don't understand: sure, they have the right to say whatever they want, but I and many others have the right to spend our money however we want. It's all about freedom, isn't it?
Or as one FReeper pointed out earlier, the Dippie Chix simply are..."Not ready to sell records" either.

There are a lot of very talented folks out there like the dixie chicks who I refuse to spend one penny of mine to support. That is my choice. They have made theirs.
The Chicks are dead in Country Music. They need to find another gig. They probably couldn't get work at the Dixie Chicken now waiting tables!
The two former blondes have enough ghoulish make up on to put Marliyn Manson to shame, and the "fat one" looks like she is sucking her gut in so much that she is in danger of a proloned exhale that will blow her across the room.
