, N.C. — New DNA evidence may link a Duke University lacrosse player to an exotic dancer who claims she was raped in the team's house, a Durham newspaper reported Wednesday.
Citing "several well-placed sources," The Herald Sun of Durham, N.C., reported that tissue collected from under the alleged victim's fingernail might match a player who was at the team party where the attack supposedly occurred.

I have no idea if she is telling the truth or not, but many on FR have followed the lead and claimed she is lying. I guess I will wait to see what happens next.
so much hatred? Have you been watching CNN or MSNBC? they have already labeled these players as criminal. I don't see you whining about their names being plastered all over as racists and rapists.

No, I mean so much hatred on FR. Every time it comes on the cable news, I turn it because I could really care less. I was just wondering why there is so much hatred on FR for this lady.

Maybe because the guys attend a rich school? Hopefully some others have some ideas on why there is so much hatred directed towards this woman on FR?
Many of us have concluded that she and her friend are bald-faced liars, and that they and the DA are putting a group of young men through a harsh and expensive wringer for their own putrid reasons. Yes, some of us are hostile to the accusers. Justice is not being done in this case, and I seem to recall that another lowlife prosecutor named Janet Reno railroaded some innocent people into prison in Florida back in her heydey.
A group of people who are notoriously irresponsible drug addicts and petty criminals.
And her police record shows that she is a typical stripper in that regard.
And, BTW, I think these lacrosse idiots brought all this trouble on themselves.
Your rationalal is that because the boys came from money the fact the her proven incorrect finger pointing should be cause for sympathy?
Because a careful, dispassionate analysis of everything that has been reported so far about this case leads one to conclude there is a very high likelihood she is fabricating these charges.
Which wouldn't be as big a deal if it were a black woman making allegations against black men or a white woman making allegations against white men.
If the allegations are false she is setting a spark to the same tinder that gave us the Rodney King riots and the OJ Simpson verdict. She should not get a pass from anyone on FR.
Let's not kid ourselves and try to make this a rich vs. poor or an upstanding vs. low-life issue. the media, DA, and others involved have made this a pure racial issue. That is how Amerika is nowadays. Play the role of victim and then nobody questions you. (unless you are on FR)

Gee, I can't imagine why ANYONE would harbor an ounce of resentment for someone who in all likelihood has made false charges and caused grievous harm with those false charges. Silly us.
No one "hates" her and no one has said that. But, she is what she is and she's not doing it "for the children".
