Bucky Katt asks a travel agent if she has "any packaged trips based primarily on smell" and she gives him information on Pittsburgh

Having been to Pittsburgh, I found this funny as hell.

..."The Mysteries of Shittsburgh,"...

???

No mystery to me. Ever been downwind of that river at low tide? Detritius on the shore? Yuk.

A$$holes need a new excuse, that one is worn out.

in town shooting the screen adaptation of Michael Chabon's novel "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh,"

Interesting that the article doesn't mention what the novel is about--"gay youth coming of age in Pittsburgh." Sounds like a must-miss film.

"Having been to Pittsburgh, I found this funny as hell."

Try living here. The population is still bleeding out of town. Taxes are through the roof. Ass backwards politicians.

The smell comment is 100% dead on. Seeing that the South Side, while nice, is a public urination zone after 2AM on the weekends, I find the smell comment hilarious.

Someday I have to believe this area will turn the corner. It is too damn beautiful around here and the people in this city are fantastic. We simply need a change in leadership that's only going to come after everyone leaves.

Apparently, she was type-cast in that short-lived Keen Eddie show.

I remember when Pittsburgh was Rand McNally's pick as the No. 1 city in the country to live back in the mid-80's. I forget who was mayor back then.

As a Pennsylvanian, I apologize for Pittsburgh.

Just kidding, never been there, it can't smell worse than some towns east of the Delaware River.

We'll always have 1960--they broke all the records and we won the game. Which reminds me, Roberto Clemente is The Great One, not some guy on talk radio.
