My intentions are that the Lord's will be done, that corrupt acts be brought to light and those who do wrong on election day be found out, and that a fire be lit in the hearts of all to cast the right vote.

Please feel free to join in prayer, list your intentions and ask God's blessing on our country Election day.

A Prayer for national leaders:

Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately corrupt; who can understand it?

"I the LORD search the mind and try the heart, to give to every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings."

Jeremiah 17: 5-10

O Lord, have mercy on us,
each and every one of us
for trusting in our own strong hand
instead of in your hands.

O Lord, you who know all hearts,
soften our hearts,
awaken us to where we have failed,
awaken us to whom it is who gives us our strength,
and teach us to walk in your ways.

Today, O Lord, I send up my prayers
That you guide the minds and hearts of those
who go to the polls to choose our next group of leaders.

May these be men and women of your chosing,
who will lead us as you want.

Please help those who will stand up against the darkness
hold their place agains the gathering foes
and bravely do the right thing.

Above all, may your will be done, this day and always.

In the name of Jesus we ask, Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, I join with my Freeper friends in agreement, asking for you to continue to bless the USA. Please grant wisdom and guidance to the voters. Open their eyes to deceptive reports and tactics.

Your will be done. In Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.

I will join you, in fasting and prayer. I have seen the Hand of God work miracles in my life - and I know that His Will *will* be done.

We go before God. May He grant our prayers, in Jesus Name...

I have run enough prayer lists and threads to know the Hand of God is a marvelous thing.

May our hearts and minds be open to his touch and hear his call.

Proverbs 8

(a good passage to remember about God's Wisdom guarding all our endeavours)

Does not wisdom call,
does not understanding raise her voice?

On the heights beside the way,
in the paths she takes her stand;
beside the gates in front of the town,
at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud:

"To you, O men, I call, and my cry is to the sons of men.
O simple ones, learn prudence; O foolish men, pay attention.
Hear, for I will speak noble things,
and from my lips will come what is right;
for my mouth will utter truth;
wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

All the words of my mouth are righteous;
there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.
They are all straight to him who understands
and right to those who find knowledge.

Take my instruction instead of silver,
and knowledge rather than choice gold;
for wisdom is better than jewels,
and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.

I, wisdom, dwell in prudence,
and I find knowledge and discretion.

The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance and the way of evil
and perverted speech I hate.

I have counsel and sound wisdom,
I have insight, I have strength.

By me kings reign,
and rulers decree what is just;
by me princes rule,
and nobles govern the earth.

I love those who love me,
and those who seek me diligently find me.
Riches and honor are with me,
enduring wealth and prosperity.
My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold,
and my yield than choice silver.

I walk in the way of righteousness,
in the paths of justice,
endowing with wealth those who love me,
and filling their treasuries.

The LORD created me at the beginning of his work,
the first of his acts of old.
Ages ago I was set up, at the first,
before the beginning of the earth.
When there were no depths I was brought forth,
when there were no springs abounding with water.
Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills,
I was brought forth;
before he had made the earth with its fields,
or the first of the dust of the world.

When he established the heavens, I was there,
when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
hen he made firm the skies above,
when he established the fountains of the deep,
when he assigned to the sea its limit,
so that the waters might not transgress his command,
when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
then I was beside him,
like a master workman;
and I was daily his delight,
rejoicing before him always,
rejoicing in his inhabited world
and delighting in the sons of men.

And now, my sons, listen to me:
happy are those who keep my ways.

Hear instruction and be wise,
and do not neglect it.
Happy is the man who listens to me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting beside my doors.

For he who finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the LORD;
but he who misses me injures himself;
all who hate me love death."

Amid all the fear and anger,
encircled by the pain and hurt
the shortsightedness,
the xenophobia,
the determination,
using might to make right
or at least to fulfill the agenda,
I kneel here, knowing
that no matter what,
you are with us who love you,
and long to be with all.

And though it looks like
we are dwelling in
the valley of the shadow of death,
where bandits hide in ambush,
and darkness shelters those
who despise the truth,
and peace seems like such a dream,
you are the lamp
who will guide our steps.

Open our eyes,
and keep us especially in the palm of your hand
this election season,
and guide us to thy will, not ours,
and protect our leaders,
and tear away the veils of self delusion
so we may act as you would have us do.

Amen.

It is to You, O Lord, that we return with praise and thanksgiving, for You have blessed us beyond measure in these United States. Your Word and Your ways were in the hearts and deeds of our Founding Fathers, and we have seen Your guiding hand throughout our history. Never has a nation been more blessed, Merciful Father, and we offer our praise and adoration for your mercy and loving kindness.

And may it continue to be so, O Lord, for the sake of Your children, for vicious is the enemy and relentless is his pursuit for the hearts and minds of the people. We call upon the Power of God to guide and guard us in the days ahead, for the very soul of our beloved land is in danger. Stay the hand of the enemy, O Lord ... thwart every plan and silence every tongue and confuse every deed that would mislead the people. May the Holy Spirit open the hearts and the eyes of the people, that we would see that the enemy is at the gate ... cause us to close the door on evil intent by electing candidates whose agenda reveals a love of God and country, who are totally committed to the protection of our people, whose authority of office will inspire and encourage, where life is sacred and treasures and talents are for the betterment of freedom-loving people everywhere.

Strike down, Merciful Father, those institutions and alliances that would bring us disaster ... that would weaken rather than strengthen. Let Your voice be heard above the din of doom and despair ... speak to our hearts, that we might be obedient and choose those to be in authority over us who would rule righteously and well.

Kingdoms rise and fall at Your command, O God ... may Your mercy fall upon us that we not lose favor in Your sight. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...

Morning Election Prayer Bump!

A Prayer for our National Elections

O God, we acknowledge you today as Lord, not only of individuals, but of nations and governments. We ask especially your blessing on the election on Tuesday.

We thank you for the privilege of being able to organize ourselves politically and of knowing that political loyalty does not have to mean disloyalty to you.

We thank you for your law, which our Founding Fathers acknowledged And recognized as higher than any human law.

We thank you for the opportunity to exercise our solemn duty not only to vote, but to influence others to vote, and to vote correctly.

Lord, we pray that your people may be awakened. Let them realize that while politics is not their salvation, their response to you requires that they be politically active.

Awaken your people to know that they are not called to be a group fleeing the world but rather a community of faith renewing the world, to be the salt and light you have called us to be.

Remind those of us who call you Master that you do not stop being our God when it is time for us to enter the voting booth.

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 11:4
He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.

Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

Ecclesiastes 11:6
In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.

Ecclesiastes 11:7
Truly the light is sweet, And it is pleasant for the eyes to behold the sun;

Ecclesiastes 11:8
But if a man lives many years And rejoices in them all, Yet let him remember the days of darkness, For they will be many. All that is coming is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 11:9
Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; Walk in the ways of your heart, And in the sight of your eyes; But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment.

Ecclesiastes 11:10
Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity.
(NKJV)

LORD, WE PRAY EACH BELIEVER LOCKS INTO THEIR HEART THE FACT THAT YOU ARE GOD AND TOTALLY SOVEREIGN, WE PRAY THEY JUST LET YOU BE YOU AND STOP BOXING IN YOUR EMINENCE.

LORD, WE PRAY ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS CHOOSE THE RIGHTER WRONG AND HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF HOW YOU WOULD LIKE THE BETTER GOOD IN AUTHORITY, NOT VOTE BASED ON SINGLE ISSUES, THOUGH TEMPER THEIR THOUGHTS THROUGH THE FILTER OF YOUR WHOLE WORD.

KAC I PRAY YOU AND YOURS ARE WELL!

Lord, I pray that on Election day you will the voters discernment to distinguish the best person for the job.

I pray that every Christian will vote when the opportunity arises. Remind us all what a privilege it is to live in a country where our vote counts. Help us to see it as a chance to be Your hand extended in order to accomplish Your will on earth. Help us to be a powerful influence for good in our nation. Expose any corruption in the election process itself so that these wrongs can be made right.

Guide all voters to vote for the men or women who best represent Your purposes for this nation. Give the voters wisdom to know who the most upright of their choice for leaders are and vote accordingly.

May they seek Your Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding.

In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen
