We're going to lose the Senate, guys (both Allen and Talent going down)

Posted on 11/07/2006 9:19:26 PM PST by hawaiian

The heavily democratic counties are kicking in in both Virginia and Missouri. The trends all over the country are undeniable. We are going to lose the Senate. Now, President, can you start wielding the veto a little bit (LOT!).

How much vote fraud has gone on, and will anything be done about it? Missouri and New Mexico are particular suspect, but with the law-flaunting Democrats in power, what difference does it make, other than a footnote in history. Historians mostly agree that the 1960 election was purchased for Kennedy, and illegitimately stolen, but what good does that do us?

Indeed. Talent doesn't appear to have sufficient margin for St. Louis, and Burns is falling. Steele now trailing again.

Well, look at the bright side: after Bush pushes through illegal immigration, there won't be any Republicans to block his impeachment, so it will all be on the Democrats.

The only good news? McCain screwed himself out of a Majority Senate. I have no doubt he'd have prefered to be the tiebreaker, and now he'll have to bow to the Dems.

Insert something here about eggs hatching.

I understand that in VA there are many absentee ballots yet to be counted.

Don't worry the democrats will use the "subpoena power" to root out the corruption. Not!

We will keep the Senate.

However, it will now be the right time for the president to veto a lot more than he has.

I love how people here start claiming folks are Zots because they are stating reality. Pathetic on your part.

I'm very worried about Allen also...the remaining counties are Democrat...period. I hope Talent hangs on, but with the crap that St. Louis has pulled over the years I don't know if he can.

Any Republican losses are due to Diebold machines, racism, and voter suppression.

He won't have a chance. He will be impeached within 1 year. The RATS will not be able to contain themselves. The KOS, and Move-on wing of the party (which now controls it) will ask for his head on a platter.

Please, Please, Please [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

Tell me Tony Snow didn't say this. Via a reader: "FoxNews reporting from the White House: White House spokesman Tony Snow reacted to the change in House control by allowing they're disappointed, but that it presents some intriguing opportunities, such as passing comprehensive immigration reform which failed in the previous Republican House."
