Yeah - you may be right.
It's going to take an adjustment, no doubt about it.
To: Jeff Chandler

I did not call you any names, I was just informing you.
If that's the way, you want to start your conversation with me, that's fine.
But still the same, You'll see what were talking about.
One Air Force Brat to another.
Do you always insult others in your first post to them?

"Yep. A good dose of these moonbats will guarantee a Republican in the White House in 2008."
After tonight's results I would not hold my breath on that. I also think that Rush will be proven right (AGAIN). The result of this election will be the nomination of John McCain because we will be that afraid of a another Clinton in the White House.

But they're also not un-American. No, they are not. They are anti-American.

Ms. Jill,
You have no idea.
But I absolutely do not condone people who cannot understand that good Americans can disagree on basic principles.
I reject the idea that those who part company with our President on the best course of action in Iraq somehow "Support the terrorists" or are "traitors."
That's childish.
We're better than that.
And if what I wrote was vitriol to you, then I apologize.
To: Jeff Chandler
And you really belive that?

You might be right.
I'm not a big McCain fan, but I will support anybody who will be able to realistically keep the WOT going till we win. If that takes supporting McCain or Giuliani, so be it.
To: Air Force Brat
I believe that the far left that has taken over the Democrat Party is strongly anti-American. Listen to their own words. Read the school textbooks they teach our children with. Watch the movies they make (the U.S. military is always corrupt in Hollywood movies.)
Their values are European values. They don't believe in the United States. They don't believe in American exceptional-ism. They believe and they they teach that America is evil and a danger to the world.
Look at the way they portray our military in Iraq: all
Abu graib, all the time. Where are the stories of valor and honor in the news and in movies? [crickets chirping]
That is not un-American. That is anti-American. By definition.

I never said that people who disagree with the President on Iraq are traitors. If someone simply wants to pull out our troops now, they're not a traitor, they're just misguided.
However, if people have a sign like this
then they're traitors.
Feel free to call me Jill, without the Ms.

Good Morning Howlin!
not everday does a youg'un (Air Force Brat in this case) insult me on their very first post to me. Just wanted you to see it so you could smile and chuckle.
No, I wo'nt lay wrath on him. He's a young poster here who has not seen all what the RATS have done over the years so
I'll let him learn on his own.
He's got a lot of learning to do.
Well at least he's at the right placeto do it.
Welcome to FRee Republic, Air Force Brat (one to another)
:-)

They won't care about the Iraqi people and will allow them to die and their fledgling government to collapse - then, as the cherry on top, blame bush.
They will teach your children the worldview they think your children should know.
These people God has placed to rule over us. This is a judgment, one we deserve. They will overburden us with regulations and taxes.
Stay well armed, for the protection of your wife, your little ones, and your property. Don't think they won't come after your guns.

It's harder to find common ground about what makes us American. If the attack of 9/11 wasn't common ground enough for all Americans to band together against the terrorists, then girl, I don't know what is.

I haven't seen Flags of our Fathers yet, have you?
Does it show this bias?
I didn't note that in Saving Private Ryan - the last war movie I saw. I wanted to take my Dad to see it, but he declined. He said he didn't care to relive what he had been through in Europe during WWII.
Do you think there was bias in Saving Private Ryan? I thought it was a pretty good film.
