"Democrats may be a lot of things, but they certainly don't want to alienate anyone. This is for real. Why don't we agree to disagree about certain things.."
"We need to put our focus on rebuilding Iraq, putting a stranglehold on al-Qaeda, and winning this war."
Another lying marxist joins FR and posts crap.

Marxist... as in communist? Boy, I wish you actually knew me. I feel so welcome here amongst people who, in real life, I'd actually get along with really well!

The dims have had more practice. They have been working to perfect their election stealing schemes ever since their plot for 2000, was a dud.

Do you really, honestly think that there are a significant number of people in this country who side with the terrorists?! If so, I hate to tell you, but you're delusional. We have different ways of dealing with threats. When attacked, some people draw guns and shoot at everything that moves. Others retreat, regroup, draw up a real plan, and spend the next two years making the terrorists pay, and the Islamists forget all about that "Muhammed" guy.

I help less-fortunate kids improve their own reading comprehension skills.

Well, then they truly are “less-fortunate.”

Here’s a clue, Captain 99th Percentile – when somebody new to a power position says something like “We will never try to force you to change your religion, sexual orientation, or first language” they are contrasting themselves to the previous holder of power position. It is accusatory and inflammatory. (As an aside, it is also completely asinine, since it is, by definition, impossible to change somebody’s “first language.” But I'm sure that slipped by you.)

Another example of the hostile intent of this list of promises is “We will never waste your lives for power.” But you’re telling me you honestly can’t read the intended accusation in that sentence?!?

Did you compete against pecking pigeons when you finished in your 99th percentile? They couldn’t possibly have found 99 people in a hundred with more pathetic comprehension abilities than you have displayed on this thread.

Please, leave those children be.

don't call me a liberal

What else does one call an individual who signed up on FR 5 days ago to muddy the waters on Michael J. Fox's favorite issue and then shills for DU editorialists?

How about a scumbag troll?

Don't get too comfortable.

By the Numbers...
National Review ^ | November 8 | Stephen Spruiell

At a luncheon on the Hill today sponsored by FreedomWorks, Republican pollster Ed Goeas said that the losses we saw last night are average for mid-term elections, particularly mid-term elections in a time of war. He also said, “One of the things that is different from 1994, is that in 1994 when Republicans won 56 House seats, all but a handful were won by a range of 10 or more percent. Last night if you look at the election, of those 28 House seats, 22 were won by 2 percent or less — 22 of the 28. And of those, 18 were won by less than 5,000 votes, and four of those by less than a thousand votes.” Later he went over the numbers again, and concluded, “In other words you can basically go back and say that we lost control of Congress by 11 seats. You’re talking about less than 50,000 votes.”

What does my signup date have to do with anything at all? I find that everyone here is terribly obsessed with this and I can't understand it. I felt it was important for us to start working together. I'm extending my hand. Will you take it, or — as you've done thus far — spit on it?

No, how about a democrat who doesn't want FReepers (my own real-life friends included) to lose hope in their country.

You seem really bitter.

Oh no. No.

You totally misread some hostility into my loving post that wasn't there.

It was just a expression of my respect for you, intended to make you my bestest friend so we can build a better country going forward!

Obviously.
