What beautiful furbabies they are! I have 3 furbabies. I adopted all three from local animal shelters. Two of the three have been abused and are rather antisocial. #1 is a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. Some guy must have beat the heck out of her when she was little. Great watch dog and doesn't let anyone too close. #2 is some weird mix. Looks like "Santa's Little Helper" from the "Simpsons". Has one blue eye and one brown. Very timid as well. Gets territorial over Mama though. #3 is a collie/shepher mix. More outgoing that the other 2. I think she is ADHD. LOL. She is really a joy. I really think that these babies are here on earth to teach us how to love unconditionally. Just my humble opinion.
Good luck FRiend.
Other posters have been critical of the woman not adopting the dog, but somebody had it right when they said she may not be the best one to take the dog home. Six other dogs, and recovering from accident could make for disaster with a large dog like this.
Hopefully the media attention will lead to the right placement.
Shame he wasn't a pit. We need all the good press we can get.
Man's best friend does it again.
It can bring tears to one's eyes.
The more man learns about men, the more he loves dogs.
Our love for dogs is immense; a dog's love for us is infinite.
