QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you're going to do now and do it." William C. Durant
To: Jemian
I have always been in the larger churches but know now that the smaller ones are like a big ole family. For instance, on wed nights out service is done right after a dinner furnished by the members, good ole country cooking too. The service is more or less just chatting back with the pastor back and forth, I love it. So does my family, really likes it.

Here in south Mississippi the sun is coming up, bright as can be, warmish, to get 75 today, roosters crowing, dogs barking, 'a day the Lord hath made'.

Good morning Molly. I hope you are doing well. It's kind of hard to FReep, no matter, like GC6 said, t'is a glorious day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
On a side note, I wish Sand Hill cranes were good to eat. As soon as the sun comes up they make such a commotion. Like 80 raptors at feeding time. Sheesh.

LOL! Now are those the same Sand Hill Cranes which return to Nebraska and the area n. of the Platte R. for the summer?.
Well I woke up with a certain stiffness in my right hip...unusual...so I'm taking a glucosamine, and going to exercise, gently.
lysie, the breakfast is scrumptious!
Back later...

I used to have one of those in St. Pete. Don't tell anyone, but I shot him. Problem solved.

Sorry to hear about your right hip. Glucosamine, imo, good stuff. I'm amazed how much better my hip is after taking it.

I take a little regularly every week, so it was really my normal dosage time. Probably I just slept on it wrong, but my mother's had 2 hip replacements due to arthritis, so there's that concern.
How's yours doing? And did you write that you're having a stress test this month?

Leaving in a little while for Canton...there's an Ohio History competition/event there at the Presidential Museum today. A young middle schooler from Jefferson Co. has been in contact with me about a particular subject...he's presenting it today, and I told him I'd get there to see it and meet him.
the rain has started. So far, we've had a gentle thaw, at least here, but I know concerns abound in other places.

My hip is improving. In fact, I don't take pain meds daily.
It was suggested , as a routine, that I have a stress test, but nothing scheduled..yet. I'm waiting for better weather.
Goodness, I didn't know that about your mother.

Well, that is excellent news about your hip! The warmer temps will help also!
Yes...my mother had her 2nd replacement about6 mos. before I started posting here....a good # of years ago now! It's funny how many ways you can appreciate how time goes so fast & how life changes so quickly, so significantly...we now have the 9/11 standard...and that offers a pretty powerful understanding. And personally, there are the 2 years preceding that event....

Wish my husband could make it, but he can't...it's the sort of thing he'd do also. Thanks, lysie, I'll let you know. He must have won some kind of local competition to make it to Canton and the state competition.

Good for you! You will probably never know how your support will be carried by him thru the years, bt realize it will make a difference to him!
Hi lysie! Hope your hip is better, I take glucosamine too.
To: Holding Our Breath
Thanks HOB....yes, it's important to help and support...but it works both ways...I got so much out of the trip too. Very lucky I am.
