meant of course for the looters. In the aftermath of our flooding, looting of unguarded homes has risen. I haven't heard stories of ex-pats being looted but the poorest of the poor. They turn their backs for two or three minutes, perhaps going outside to check on their gardens, or a neighbor. When they come back their stuff is gone. Phwhoosh! Gone.
It began raining again last night and has rained steadily through the night. This is not what we needed.

My preacher is going to Central America next week, he does Christian work down there, the stories he tells me is unbelievable. I hear so much about the 'hungry folks' in America but have we lost anyone to hunger? any deaths"? But there and no doubt where you are, death to hunger is a common practice. I want to go with him just to keep him company but with heart and age, I just don't know, I surely want to.
