You simply can't dismiss the fact that Virgie watched Daniel from the time he was 3 mos. old until he was seven.
And even after that, we don't really know how much time Daniel spent with Anna. He was a nice young man and I give the credit to Virgie.
Reminds me of the diaries of a woman (Michelle Theer?) who had her husband murdered. She wrote self-serving things into her diary to be used later.
If I thought a pet of mine had kidney failure, I would NOT wait to take it to the vet! Don't you think it is an emergency???

I read years ago that she used to send money to her mom and relatives. I would think that since she's been with HKS, she would not have been permitted to do that.
Why don't you simply call poison control. They'll help you out as to what to observe at least. And/or Call into your doggie doctor and leave a message. He's probably on the alert to help folks out during this.
If Virgie was only interested in money, she would have been one of Anna's enablers, but she remained the feisty, concerned mother - reason for the estrangement.
After Marshall's death Anna surrounded herself with leeches who fed her ego, destroyed her soul and replaced her home-town values with depravity.
There may have been periods when Anna reclaimed her hometown roots, as a mother, but too late - she was stuck in a world of scums, bums and phony mums.
As a result, she is dead, her son is dead and her daughter has only one grandmother going through hell to save her.
Virgie was the only one to step up to the plate for Daniel and say..."Drugs....Bull!!"
Any animals that have eaten the contaminated food should be seen by a vet ASAP. If you wait until all the signs of kidney failure is there it's too late to save the animal. This is a case where the owner has to be very proactive.
I heard they are going to release the autopsy results this week, ANYBODY know what day or have they said.?

Here's my take on what's going on
Howard gay??? I don't think he's gay. If anything I don't think he's sexual. Larry's comment is being used to mean that he was hinting at Howie being gay. I disagree. I think he just meant that you would have to have sex to get someone pregnant. During the hearing he said that Howard was in love with Anna and was jealous of their relationship. I think Howard's view of love is twisted and about control. Because he can't actually feel love he has to go for the outer trappings. I love you so I'm always with you..giving you what you want and need. That's not love but Howard can not feel love and he can not feel sexual love. The reason we probably haven't heard of an ex girlfriend or boyfriend is probably because there aren't any.
Virgie/Larry I think Virgie is still angry over the hearing. I think she expected more support from Larry and didn't get it. We've talked alot about how Perper and Millstein acted towards Howie at the funeral well Larry was also up in his face as was Debra Opri. I think Virgie should not have pushed Anna being buried in Texas. She had 15 years of Anna saying she wanted nothing to do with Texas against her and her lawyers should have told her that. Her lawyers did a terrible job. As I've said before they should have had her prepared for those financial questions. Why?? Because they should have been ready to use the same line of questions on Howard. The amount of money that he had made totally outnumbered the amount Virgie had made. Plus Virgie could have said (which I'm sure is true) that she did it to pay respects to the grandson that she had not seen in over 10 years. I think at this point it's every man/woman for themselves. If L or V get Dannielynn I don't expect either to cut the other one of the child's life completely.
Larry/Opri She was fired and was trying to save face regarding some of her comments. I think Larry did briefly entertain striking a deal with Stern. I think it came from frustration with how slow things were going in California.
Virgie/Daniel I think Virgie gave Daniel his good foundation. That being said...they had not seen each other in many years. The reason why they had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at a 20 year old man's funeral is because that's where the relationship ended. She had no idea what kind of man Daniel had become and I blame Anna for that.
I'm ready for DNA to be done and Larry to take his baby if it's his. If it's G. Ben Thompson then he needs to step up...get his child...and kick Stern out on his pyschopathic a**!!
It seems to me that right about the time we heard the first leaks that Opri and Birkhead were having troubles, that was when O'Quinn first started saying talking disparagingly about both Birkhead and Stern.
Perhaps she "hated sex" THAT day...
KE says his results will probably lean toward mysterious. Somehow, I think he tripped her up and it won't be mysterious at all.
The mere fact that she got called in after weeks of "results tomorrow" tells me he doesn't want in any way to leave it as a mystery. He wants to connect it to Daniel's death by drugs, amounts, time and access.
All that won't be in the report but he needs all that if he is going to be the Primary Witness in a murder trial. If she was given something 2 minutes before death and she was already doped, she wouldn't have been capable of giving herself the 2 minute hit.
He will have to stay at the Vet's overnight, and we HAVE to go out of town Thursday..
I just can't bring him there tomorrow...pick him up Tuesday and bring him there again on Wednesday.. He's a free spirit, and locking him up at the Vets for over 5 nights with tests is what he faces..
Don't worry...I'm watching him carefully. He's still eating and doesn't ACT sick except for the drinking.

What is unbelievable is that all of these 800 numbers are RECORDINGS! And they don't tell you what to expect or do preemptively.
Wonder if Opri would have been a better fit/atty for
Virgie?
I don't think O'Quinn was very effective in the Seidlin hearing and Virgie had far more weight as the mother than Larry had as only a "potential" father at the time.
Think Opri would have had more leverage as Virgie's atty and would have used it.
Well too bad.
Just checking to see if Howie is still a free gay man or if he has been cuffed in lace yet!
