>>extra pronounced kerplunks the past days since being sick

Mine does that once in a while....the culprit is caffeine (coke, candy, coffee, tea, etc) according to the doc....for years, I though it was - not enough nookie

Hope you can live with it - that's pretty much how we ended up with our house...

:-)

When Mamma Ain't HAPPY, Ain't NOBODY Happy.

If the House suits her, and you consider it above average, it seems to me you've probably found your new home.

Is the Housing Market such that you need to snap it up immediately, or can you look at a few others before you make up your mind?

HA! I think Coopster got it right!

What exactly didn't you like about it, Raven?

I know my son and his bride are looking in their area and it's been tough...almost had one last week, and it fell thru...for one thing, the broker failed to deliver a key communication in a timely way. Then son and DIL had another chance, and that didn't work out. But there's always tomorrow.

lysie, are you having computer problems??

Everyone happy with the games yesterday?

My alma mater lost. Phooey..

The sunrise here is breathtaking, a little 'nippy' but what a sight....

I lost my gas cap when I got gas yesterday, ummm, put in on the trunk and drove off with it there I suspect is a good way to get it gone...

The realtor said "There's nothing wrong with the place you're in now, so don't move unless it's a bell ringer"

Good advice...(and it wasn't a bell ringer)

The problem with the current place is.....we need a little more room. Just a little. Or start tossing stuff out.....

Oh! You're right....there's not a pressing need to move, and that is significant. My aforesaid son and DIL are Really pressed for space in their little condo, but even so, they're being careful.

So you can start tossing stuff?!!

That BBC GW special is so excellent! Did you watch it? I need to go back and check some parts...but the contrast between it and AIT couldn't be greater! Oh my!

I told you about my father and his interest in this topic..he started corresponding with some knowledgable person 20 years ago..the man was a scientist, and putting out a small newsletter to counteract the beggining to grow climate hysteria...So my father gave some of these to me, and now where are they? I'm pretty sure I saved them.....would be interesting to look at them again...

>>Did you watch it?

Yes....

I'll tell you what the problem is.

The problem is - the train has left the station.

My company had "Engineers Week" recently and we had a guest speaker - a lobbiest from DC. He said that Gloabl Warming has gone political and that trumps science.

So that's where we are. Even if tomorrow we learn it's all solar. Even if we learn that converting from a carbon-based world to a non-carbon based world will result in a deep recession and millions of deaths.

There is no analytical thought when it comes to environment.

I am thinking of adding on to my 'shack in the back', just thinking of course. First thing I am going to have to do is add on the the Oval Office for my new chickens, turkeys and guineas I am going to get......extending my 'ranch'...

Good morning! The sun is shining, but the pesky weatherman claims we'll get more cold rain today.

You've got a trip to Autozone in your future, Toby!

Here's something else that you or others might be interested in for future gardening:

When Mamma Ain't HAPPY, Ain't NOBODY Happy.

Heh! Quite true.

Good morning everybody. I'm off to practice shuffleboard for a while, the tournament is this Wednesday and Thursday.

I really have no illusions as to my performance, being the rank beginner that I am. I'm approaching it with the attitude of doing my best and having fun.

Some of these shufflers around here have been playing for years and years. They are quite serious about tournament play, of course.

Watching them is a delight, their accuracy and strategy is fascinating. Still, it's a game where the final score of every turn and every match isn't necessarily decided until the last disc slides. IOW it often isn't over until it's over.

And you can shoot yourself in the foot just as easily as your opponent can harm you. (Probably what I'm best at, ha.)

I understand what you're saying...my husband received some material from his employer this week which stressed...NOT keeping costs down, but....keeping CO2 emissions low as the material was discussing energy use. My husband just rolled his eyes and groaned.

BUT it's encouraging that more and more skeptics are speaking up, AND it's been political for awhile already.

You're right tho...the politicalization has gained ground lately, and the brainwashing is taking hold.

The amount of brainwashing propoganda in AIT is unbelievable.

Tell ya what.....Set up a box outside your 'shack' door w/a sign saying "Toby's Gas Cap Fund...Donate Here".

BTW...Happy St. Patrick's Day! Instead of shamrocks, I found a pot of GREEN chrysanthemums at Wal-Mart.

(There are 3 plants in the pot, and the tag says that they will spread. 'Thought they would make for an interesting addition to my flower garden.)
