I think we probably have much of the testimony, statements, an video of Virgie re: money. Have you all done a comparison? I am still unable to find any discrepancies. If there is something I’ve missed, please let me know. All that I can find are questions posed to her about money recieved AFTER Daniel’s death, and the only time she received, or acknowledges receiving money is for pictures of ANS and Daniel BEFORE his death. Am I overlooking something or is there something else?

Oh, I know all the red flags, Dante, and normally, they’d point me in the very same direction the majority here is in. Something about my gut instinct, though, and how things have been reported in the media, plus my formed opinions way, way before Daniel died— I puzzle myself, sometimes,lol!
For one thing, I’ve always seen Howard as more or less unimportant. I’ve no doubt he was very important to Anna and she trusted him. I’m also sure they didn’t always get along, like any brother/sister, husband/wife, etc. I just can’t see him as a, say, John Gotti-type figure, a Rasputin, a Kennedy, who has that kind of power and influence and money to coerce and manipulate and control others. Howard Stern just isn’t that all important to anyone now, except his own family. I’ve never considered him to be a strong man.
As to the paternity issue, that was Anna’s thing up until the day she died. After that, it really didn’t take too long in the scheme of things to get that settled. Sure, Howard advised her and helped her. That was his role.
As to him saying nasty things about Virgie, recently-well, I didn’t think they were that nasty, compared to stuff she’s said about him, and being human, I’ll give them both leeway on that. Can you imagine trying to keep emotions in check for months, after going what both have been through? Don’t think I could.

I agree that HKS fits the profile. Nobody has so far presented evidence of anything admirable about him. His actions have revealed only a sadistic side. He is not somebody with whom I would want to be in the same room.
I’m sure Larry knew all eyes would be on him to see who was on his arm for the Derby, wonder if that is why he took his sister?

My guess is that he took his sister because DL is too young, he has no girlfriend and his Dad is ugly.

Well, I think you’re safe.
That 1 in 25 refers to the odds of encountering a sociopath in a NORMAL cross-section of the population. I think the people on this thread have self-selected themselves, because of common interests, into a group NOT representative of the general population and therefore the odds would be much different.
Can you imagine HKS, or KE for that matter, caring enough about what anyone wrote to bother writing back? Only if it might confer some power, money or sensual pleasure (sex, drugs) would it be worth a sociopath’s time.

It sure is! But 24 hours later and FEMA is still no where to be found...they’re supposedly “on their way”....well I hope they get there soon or the you know what’s going to hit the you know what in D.C., again.

Hmm, they really were teasing about the “blonde date” on ET, then, weren’t they? Judy’s not blonde by any stretch of the imagination, altho there are some angles and lighting situations where her highlights make her hair look much lighter than it is.
On the other hand, he *was* with a pretty blonde girl with long caramel-colored hair today in a suite at the Derby. It was just a brief pass with the camera, kind of sweeping around the room after talking with Jenny McCarthy and Jerry O’Connell and maybe a dozen others.
They just panned to the right before interviewing the next person and there was Larry over kind of away from everyone, with this pretty girl, definitely his date, no one else anywhere around them. They didn’t talk to him or even point him out, which I thought they would later - it was an Access Hollywood person who was doing some of the voice-over - but they never did.
It was a great Derby! I would’ve won a little bit with the exacta I *woulda* bet, lol, because of Street Sense’s longer odds. Hard Spun came way up at the last, so I that was my 2nd in the box, but it was gonna be Curlin till I changed it. Curlin in a 1-3 exacta would’ve paid well, but I didn’t know if you can do that and I woulda had to be a psychic.
I was going to throw in a triboxa with “NoBizLikeShoBiz” (because of this thread!) and another with Dominican (cuz I always like nuns’ horses), but glad I wasn’t actually betting!

I loved the color of Liz’s outfit. Couldn’t quite figure out the reasoning behind the reddish-orange wrapping on the apple green hat that matched the duster, but it worked! Hope horse-racing picks up - it’s not as fashionable as it used to be...greyhounds either. The big three still hold on - but I read somewhere that all the other OTB and internet gambling opportunities are keeping people away from the tracks. Is there any harness racing?
No, I just loved Barbaro and love the Derby. I like the Triple Crown races, but am mostly partial to quarter horses and smaller tracks, tho I can’t go anywhere any more.
Not a big bettor at all, just like to watch from the boxes. Don’t know about other kinds of races or gambling.
I really respect Dr. Baden’s opinions - but IIRC he is testifying for the defense in Phil Spector’s trial.

It’s just awful, there’s nothing left - where would you start? I remember enduring a severe ice-storm and our neighborhood lost power for a week - we just went to a hotel. Where can these poor people stay temporarily? I would hope the FEMA trailers are on their way - but they have to be transported from somewhere.
