Yes, definitely Beatrix Potter. Those darling little baby bowls, sippy-cups, plates and things with all the bunnies running around on them!

I agree Trisha...I absolutely believe that Anna wanted to get back together with Larry....in some ways, I believe he really wanted it too....Esp since he didn’t contact CPS in CA or the Bahamas...I think he did not want to get Anna in trouble and have the baby end up in foster care somewhere. I think he hoped they would be able to get together to raise DL...but he HAD to go after her legally once HKS put HIS name on the birth certificate and went on Larry King to announce he was the father! Since Anna and Larry were in contact via email & texting, they may have been planning to reconcile....but those plans were twarted when HKS and KE ‘took control of Anna’s care’ by drugging her and isolating her from everyone in her life!

Larry took the fact that she was the cross he got her when she took pics of Dannielynn as a dig to him and initially I thought so too. But after hearing what the nannies said I think it was so that in some way he would be there with her and maybe the KFC was a cry for help...lol.

Yes, Barbaro (”Bobby”) won the Kentucky Derby last year by 6-1/2 lengths. First potential Triple Crown winner to come along in many, many years.

Broke his leg out of the gate at the Preakness and never recovered, but not for lack of prayers from around the world and first-class veterinarian care. (The Belmont Stakes would’ve been the 3rd leg of the Crown.) Just an incredible, incredible horse with a ton of spirit.

He got laminitis in the other foot, opposite the broken leg, that he had to favor while standing and recuperating. The broken leg, shattered in 17 places, was actually spliced back together with steel plates and *did* heal.

He had a special sling to help him keep so much weight off the bad hoof, but so much of his foot had to be carved out away from the diseased area and the hoof wall, that he just couldn’t re-grow it fast enough.

The founder in the hoof eventually led to his having to be put down because in the end, the pain just couldn’t be mitigated. We had all soooo hoped he’d at least be able to be put out to pasture and enjoy his last days, and *perhaps* be able to stand on his repaired leg and a healed hoof to mate and make baby Barbaros.

He has two full brothers, one of which was born recently, but I just haven’t had the heart to read about them or follow them.

Barbaro is (was) a great, great, great - did I mention “great”? - horse! Run for the Roses is such a great song and I will always, always think of no one else but Barbaro when I hear it.

Me too.

After a review of what's been said, IMHO HKS's primary mission now is to trash Virgie, something he has done all along. If he had cared for ANS, she would have wanted her to make peace with her mother. But no, he even refused to let her see her granddaughter. What amazes me is how some people fail to recognize how evil he is.

Something is not quite right about that statement! Larry’s comment about Daniel ‘living in the fast lane’...seems ‘out of left field’ to me!! Why say anything at all (esp something hurtful) about the DEAD 20 year old son of your DEAD 39 year old ex-girlfriend?!! It seems very strange to me...and AGAIN, leads me to believe that LB has made a deal with HKS. What the deal is, I do not know...but Larry’s statement about Daniel BENEFITS only one person...and that is HKS!! I still hope Larry agreed to any terms set forth by HKS only while in the Bahamas, and he will NOT honor those agreements when he has DL safely in the U.S.! Also, maybe the only thing Larry agreed to is to ‘say nice things about HKS’ to help him improve his image before the Inquest begins??? But that statement about Daniel living in the fast lane, seems an odd statement to make at this point, and like I said, it only benefits one person...HKS!!!!

He also talks about his relationship with Anna’s late son, DANIEL. He tells OK! that near the end of his life, Daniel was living in the fast lane.

“He might have started hanging out with the wrong group of kids when he went to college,” Larry tells the magazine. “He was 20 when he went to college so I think it was too much too quick.”

Note..do we even know those are the exact words he used? He speculates that he might have started .....but is this the author just try to sensationlize..and where the heck does he get that 20 is too quick to start college. That is out of nowhere..lol... That makes no sense..most kids are 18 when they start college.

I agree...she wouldn’t have worn the cross if she didn’t still care about him....if anything, it was a DIG to HKS, IMO...and I personally LOVE that she wore that cross! To me, that is something Larry can tell DL when she is older...to show her that he and Anna both still loved each other, even though they had their differences. I think, like you do, that was Anna’s way of having ‘a part’ of Larry there for the birth!

I thought that, too, about the cross - not a dig at all, but sending a loving message to him.

There I go *projecting* again.

I think what was meant was that Daniel started college late, so he felt he had a whole lot of beer-drinking, partying, carousing, to catch up on.

He’d been thrown together with adults all his life and never got to have a normal childhood or young adulthood.

And just when it was getting good ...

How bout those curly cue light bulbs?

Chairman, board members, esteemed members of the Firm. I tried to do my part to reduce my carbon footprint by switching where possible, to curly cue bulbs. However, to my consternation and dilemma, I discovered that in the very important bath vanity, they can't create the ambiance of a good old-fashioned oversized globe. Instead they just looked like sideways curly cue things rudely sticking out of the mirror. And not even pink!...and I don't care, what "they" say, they do not last any longer either :(

I therefore propose, a motion be immediately drafted, affirming that our God-given right to retain our cherished oversized globes shall not be denied, carbon footprint and curly cue things be damned. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Blu

Oh, that is so SAD! I liked it better when I only knew my truth (that he was OK), in Annaland!! Yes, I prayed for Barbaro also, and he definitely left his legacy in the hearts of many!! That shows how great he was, not just as a champion, but as an inspiration....I don’t even follow horse racing, and I FELT so much JOY, PRIDE, and SORROW bc of him...so that must say something!! Of course, I also wanted him to leave out his days in pasture (and thought he was until you all CRUSHED MY DREAM!! Just kidding...lol)...but even knowing the truth now, his fighting spirit is an inspiration to everyone. I too will always think of him when I hear ‘Run for the Roses’!!

BTW...do you know who that song was originally wrote for?

Oh, I missed him. I don’t watch that show, but I switched over when I saw your post.

Very bizarre - something I want to comment on. They are doing the charity thing and an appeal about malaria in Africa. They asked Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, and a bunch of other stars how many funerals they had been to in their lives.

They all said numbers like “2” or “3” or 6 or 7. I think 7 was the most.

What is with these people? I’ve been to several hundred funerals. Do they not pay their respects to anyone besides their own kinfolk? I’ve never heard of grown adults (especially big movie stars with hundreds of acquaintances) who have only been 2 funerals!

I’m speechless.

How many straight men do you know that are even ‘interested’ in the ANS saga?

Not my husband....:)
