For all intents and purposes, I think HKS still has legal custody of Dannielynn until the June 8 hearing, finalizing the handover to Larry.
This is supposed to just be temporary custody for permitted travel to the US, as I understand it. I could definitely be wrong about that and I’m sure I will be corrected, if so!
I have neither read nor heard anything that disputes your thoughts on the current custody of DL.
IMO, this is EXACTLY what Virgie was referring to when she said the June hearing was just a formality. No matter what some think.
