Kenney's uncle was interviewed on local television in Boston and more or less took the cop's side.

And how many families like each other very, very much?

I remember my mother telling me why she moved from the east coast to the west coast. "To get away from those family feuds."

You know better than to believe everything said on TV. This is why we have the Freepublic.com...

The article said that Kenney had been told he could request another officer, but it also said "Kenney told McKay to "get another officer," and then he sped off, according to Ayotte.."

Reread the article and get your "facts" right. Kenny sped off AFTER the officer refused to call in another unbiased officer...

Oh and that reminds me...

In California -- there is a law that when a police car is signaling you to pull over... you can keep driving until you feel "safe" to pull over. This was based on a police officer that pulled over a "heiress," in an isolated area... raped and killed her.

Does N.H. have any laws like this?

I pulled it out of YOURS.

Does it hurt?

Loosen up.

Its not the first time the Miller/Lito Kenney/Bruce McKay alleged police feud has been in our community news up here. I have close friends who live in Franconia, 30 miles away from me.

Above the law if you're a liberal. Name of the game. Maybe you also have the right to choose the police officer who apprehends you, called " Shop a Cop" in the liberal lexicon?

" I don't like you, officer, radio in and send someone else?"

And if you don't get the cop you want, shoot him then run over him with your vehicle?

The feud claim is simply a law officer enforcing the law, doing his sworn duty or Bruce McKay would still be alive and he would have shot Lito instead Floyd having to do so.

Lito Kenney got the drop on Bruce Mckay , likely by having his gun ready as Bruce approached his vehicle after the stop.

Kenny should have been behind bars long ago, but the liberal socialist feud claim defence kept him out of jail.It won't posthumously vindicate the shooting of one of the best community police officers in the Northeast. He was a good husband and father.

Corporal Bruce McKay's loss will be deeply felt here for years, long after Lito Kenney has been forgotten. Bruce was a consumate professional and had been promoted for his professional service. The Franconia community supported him in his work to keep the peace and keep the roads safe for them and their children.Bruce did not shy from doing his job despite the "feud" claim by the "knarly" crowd in Franconia and Easton, who seem to think that popularity is a necessary prerequisite for a police officer to do his work by turning a blind eye to the good old boys. They have found out the hard way that none of them are above the law, just as it should be.

" I don't like you, officer, radio in and send someone else?"

The facts aren't as you portray. It was part of a prior agreement already made by the police.

There is a NH statute which covers the heroes actions, I just can’t find right now. Later maybe.

And you couldn't do anything about it because jeez... he is a cop.

I've never been to New Hampshire but don't they have, you know, elected officials and courts and lawyers and newspapers and stuff like that?

I know about the agreement, negotiated by Lito Kenney's lawyers as a plea bargain item. It was wrong. It still does not have the effect of alowing Lito to break the law. Bruce never got the chance to act according to the"agreement." He was shot dead after Lito Kenney got the drop on an experienced police officer. The only way Lito could do that do that is by having his gun ready as Bruce walked up to the car. We will know eventually, the whole thing was videoed.

Without the agreement , and the plea bargain, Lito would be behind bars, where he should have been. He was a felon, armed and dangerous. What was Bruce to do, ID Lito, then drive away? Hardly.

The facts sound like Lito baited Bruce too.But that has gone unnoticed. Premeditated murder is what it was.

Doing anything other than what the PO would mean he lost control of the situation. Sadly this happened anyway.

First assistance in the area may be long in arriving. And I guess you are not or ever have been a cop. But as a former cop, I suggest you stop with your advice, because until you have experienced the “tranquility of the day, interrupted by shear terror of the moment” you have no clue what this business is about, unless you are a combat vet.

Drega was a man who was treated roughly and unfairly by his Town Zoning Board and a liberal town magistrate.

It drove Drega over the edge, and he decided to take a lot of people with him. That he did.

If he had taken the matter to court, he would have likely won it on constitutional issues. Town Clerks up here have since gotten very polite with tax payers.

The "knarly" 'good old boy' crowd in Franconia are "Liberals"?

That doesn't wash.

Good job, Marine!

You are right. It wouldn't wash in places like Alabama.

Things are different up here in the North East, both New Hampshire and Vermont are run by liberals who will pull triggers just as well as conservatives.

Kinney shot the police officer AFTER he got sprayed in the face with pepper spray. I sincerely wonder if the officer was a bully with a badge.

I don't know anyone there but have known friends who have been continually harassed by police officers for no other reasons because they were a-holes with a badge.

Does that justify Kinney's actions? Hell no! Was the officer a professional? Hell no!

And please keep your hands out of my nether regions...
