The pictures are real, but the story about being found by a lucky new owner are totally fake. The real story is that a guy that was a car dealer in the 70’s and 80’s had been storing them in a barn. The pictures were taken by a photographer he hired to document the cars in his possession. I found the story on Snopes.com.

Thanks for the real story... although I have trouble believing an auto dealer would treat his collection this way... he should know better.
