Two types of people LOVED this movie:
1. Macho, war movie fans, including many in the military.
and
2. Gay men.

Bought it at lunch, probably won’t see it today though, finally got a good wave of DVDs so I also got the new Bab5 and Hot Fuzz. Been looking forward to new B5 through many rumors and false starts so that is the must see the minute I get home.

The first installment of the Lost Tales anthology series.

JMS said that he plans to include the Telepath War at some point. Good reason to buy this one, encourage WB to greenlight more and finally get the B5 story we’ve wanted to see.

Actually, I was a teenaged mom and wife. It was difficult, but it sure was worth it! The 300 movie speaks to me about absolutes, and that is what a successful teenaged wife/mom deals in, plus the war deployment thingy! I really was as strong and fearless as Leonidas, and I was just as rock solid confident. God forbid I would have wavered...

I picked it up yesterday. (Along with B5 and Hot Fuzz. I think Stu and I share the same tastes.) Enjoyed it quite a bit. (And Hot Fuzz was great.)
But I also purchased an MP3 file of some of the Mystery Science Theater guys riffing the movie as well. Enjoyed that too.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm married to a macho, war movie fan soldier. :-)
