Don’t get me started about the farm. My granddaddy’s farm was the most serene, wonderful place when I was a child. I played at the pond and in the woods. Helped slop the hogs, fed the chickens, gathered hickory nuts behind the barn. My granddaddy would not let me milk the cow, so he put me in the corncrib so I could watch him. He was afraid I would get kicked in the head. DL would love a life in the country, I believe, if she had the chance.
During a trip to New York, J. Howard waited in his hotel for several days only to have Vickie visit with him for thirty minutes. Just before he was scheduled to leave, Vickie asked that he meet her at an exclusive jewelry store, Harry Winston’s. When J. During the summer of 1994, members of J. Howard’s staff learned that Vickie’s “bodyguard,” Pierre DeJean, had a record of multiple felony convictions. Just prior to her marriage to J. Howard, Vickie “lost” much of the jewelry that J. Howard had given to her, including her engagement ring. She filed a police report in Los Angeles, claiming the property had been stolen. Contradicting her claim, she also asserted that she had given the jewelry to DeJean. Further contradicting her claim, she asserted that she had left the jewelry in a bag in a cab. like the legal blog (or Pierce’s actual court docs) is where I found out she gave the cops 3 different stories about the jewlery. . she needed a short leash. A court of law is not Larry King! And HKS could not jump in to save her arse once that mouth kikced in.
That is why one of my theories is she had to go. She did poorly in Texas, barely squeaked through in CA .. they couldn’t take a chance on her blowing billionaire case.

When anna was in SC doing her nasty there, some fans busted her and blogged on her own site. Howie baby wiped it out, had it all deleted. When the fans went nuts, he had to make a public statement that he did it because it was all lies and he didn’t want anna defamed on her own site.
She had one. They tried to swindle the Bahamas jewler on one of their, I will pay you when I get my money deals. He didn’t go for it. Anna didn’t care what quality the diamond was .. she wanted it 10 c. She got a 10C .. it was at the Seminole police station at one time. I bet Howard broke his neck to take the Assigned exec papers there.
She couldn’t be trusted to say the right thing at the inquest which was days away!!
It’s clear why ANS leaned on HK$ and turned her life over to him.
All the muscular, boy bodyguards she hired & dated were as dumb as she was. Only HOwie was clever enough (and unethical enough) to *rescue* her. He made no demands on her, let her date anyone and everyone, behaved like a *best friend* holding her hand through drug treatment and court hearings. Just biding his time and sucking her dry.
I also think HOwie saw some of her *boy-toys* as potential useful idiots. Mark Hatten’s comments about *offing* E. Pierce Marshall don’t seem so far-fetched.
I was looking for ET’s video where is shows a close up of ans and she had a rock on her hand and was putting in earrings. I was the same time and black dress she wore for the mommie dearest tape. I ran across this....

Harris reports that after her will is probated in American courts, HOWARD K. STERN will file the will for probate in the Bahamas, where the bulk of the rest of her assets will be addressed.
“buying” the boat??? All reports said it was purchased two weeks earlier.
Notice how he only lists items well known in the media.
No mention of Daniel!
I think we have to return to Daniel and see if there were insurance policies on him. I’m sure there were and I’ll bet that Howard and Anna were the beneficiaries.

I'd say being the 1993 Playboy was the high point of her life....and she knew it.
Don't forget...originally, the old man gave her cash...and told her to stop dancing. And gave her more cash...until she gave in and married her. But I don't think that was it at all. The fastest way to get money was to marry him and scr** him and his family for all they were worth. She TRIED to set herself up for life. She sure caused that family a lot of trouble. Gee...is there a pattern here??
I hope the Bahamian officials are made aware of this. It is an important point.

Folks who question why Virgie and Anna were estranged should read those articles. Virgie always loved her daughter - but there can be no question as to why they remained estranged. Anna distanced herself from the only person who truly cared about her and Daniel. She sacrificed her son and her own body & soul to Satan.

and to Add. I agree Sod. I also think that Virgie didn’t approve of Anna trying to get the money from the estate. I don’t have proof just speculation on my part. In that video that was posted after she got ODed she made the comment that she didn’t have anyone to talk to regarding the lawsuits. That Daniel was a child and she didn’t want to burden him with that. I think Virgie probably called her out for being wrong for going after that money and Anna as usual couldn’t handle it. Then when she met Stern he made her feel justified for going after the money and of course that’s when she starting pulling away from Virgie.

Back to the Horizons: Before Howard and Anna left for Florida, an injunction was in place which said Thompson could not enter the residence. (We know absolutely that the Horizons was not a gift).
Fast forward: Anna dies and within 24 hours, Thompson and friends photographed and removed items from the Horizon.
I now believe that Thompson "has proof" that Anna said: "If anything happens to me....And Howard knew about it and THAT is why he went after the injunction.
Just another dirty Bahamian judge?? Will have to look into who the judge was and EXACTLY what the injunction said and exactly when it was effective.
I have a grandson who, thank God, is a good teenager now, but when he was little, he would not mind! Before they started making children sit in the backseat until they were 10 years old, he would get in the front seat, hit every button on the dash while you were yelling at him to stop. I guess that's why his parents used "Time Out" with him - afraid they'd get called for child abuse if they spanked him every time he needed it. As 'nosey' as he was, and with me threatening to spank him, he would still cry to stay with me!
Virgie probably didn't have too much help in keeping AN in line because she had to work to support them. It doesn't seem like Anna got any good advice or guidance when she got older, and while she used people, she allowed some people to use her. HKS and LB are still using her IMO.
She lied with no conscience. I can imagine the wild child poor Virgie had to battle.

Inquiring minds want to know why the Daniel Smith inquest was postponed due to the hurricane while the election court case was allowed to proceed.
At the first sign of rain, the loosely-knit band of criminals known as the government of The Bahamas, once again, adjourned the much delayed inquest into the mysterious death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel.
Yet, the spat between the PLP and the FNM tribes, over the May election results, continued unabated on Wednesday.
The Daniel Smith inquest has been postponed by the corrupt government of The Bahamas on numerous occassions.
Daniel Smith died suddenly under unusual circumstances at Doctors Hospital on September 10, 2006, where he was visiting his mother and newborn sister.
A private autopsy later revealed that his body contained a lethal cocktail of drugs, including methadone and at least two anti-depressants.
Several top-level PLP tribe members are suspected of engaging in criminal behaviour, ranging from illegally expediting Anna Nicole’s residency permit to aiding and abetting in the alleged murder of Daniel Smith and Anna Nicole.
Originally scheduled for last October, 2006, the inquest was first cancelled after it was discovered that Daniel may have been murdered by persons close to Anna Nicole Smith, persons who were chummy with certain corrupt Bahamian Cabinet members.
The Bahamas government was so concerned about the results of the investigation into Daniel’s death, that they not only cancelled the inquest, they scrapped the entire Coroner’s Court process in an attempt to sweep the controversial case under a rug.
Disquiet was expressed on US cable television and elsewhere over the Bahamian authorities’ failure to order a proper inquiry into the case.
Finally, due to pressure from the local media, and an international petition from a contingent of bloggers from the United States, the Bahamas government agreed to hold an inquest at a later date.
The inquest was scheduled, but then postponed again in March when an allegedly-corrupt Bahamian attorney representing Howard K Stern, (Wayne Munroe) convinced an incompetent and foolish Magistrate (Roger Gomez) that there was no way an impartial jury could be selected. That argument was later thrown out by Supreme Court Justice John Lyons, who also removed Magistrate Gomez from the case after Gomez violated court protocol by talking to the press about an ongoing case. Mr. Stern was the lawyer-turned self proclaimed lover of Daniel’s mother, Anna Nicole.
An insider at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism said he overheard government Ministers discussing the case and marvelling at how many tourism dollars the government has “milked” from the inquest, with all the postponements.
“Every time the inquest is postponed, various persons have to reschedule additional trips to The Bahamas. This results in more hotel room bookings and related income for the nation and helps insure that certain media representatives and ‘uncontrollable’ witnesses will eventually get tired of going back and forth from The Bahamas, thus, hopefully, failing to appear when the inquest is finally staged.”
The most recent postponement is the most obvious example of government manipulation because the case was adjourned due to Tropical Storm Noel, which pretty much avoided Nassau anyway. More suspicious was the fact that other courts, including the one hearing the PLP election case, continued on Wednesday, despite the impending storm.
