Prayers for you, Jim ~ for patience and comfort and healing.
Dearest Jim -
Here are God’s words for you:
I will be leaning toward you
with favor and regard for you
rendering you fruitful
and ratifying and establishing
my covenant with you. Jer 26:9 Amp
God is able to do super abundantly, over and above anything you could ask or think .. infinitely beyond your highest hopes or dreams.
God bless you and your family!!
Will be praying God’s comfort, complete healing, and strength for you, Jim.
LOL. Get ‘em tiger!
I have prayed for your recovery. May the Lord hear the prayers of all the freepers for their beloved Jim Robinson.
Jim, prayers are sent. You are in good hands, the VA does a better job than many know about.
I’m still praying for you Jim and I won’t forget to pray for you.
Prayers up for a hero
No prayer request made on a thread for another is ever seen by me as inappropriate.
Our God is big enough to handle all of our problems, and I don’t think you need to be concerned about asking for our prayers, along with those we’ve already offered up for Jim.
God bless our Military and a special portion for those in a warzone and for those suffering in any form or fashion. I’m pleased to pray for two “Jim’s” at the same time.
No fears my friend. Prayer threads are not the place where flames are thrown (usually).
God speed, and may the VA docs find out what is going on with you.
And thanks for your service.
Did you see this? Could you ping the VetsCoR group for Jim?
Thank you so much for the description and update.
I believe that specific prayers help the prayERS as God knows everything about us, anyway!!
Prayers UP for you, Jim.
It sounds like you have a great team fighting for and with you - and with God’s help, you are going to beat this.
I’ll keep praying.
Phil, I live right near the Blues - and don’t have that picture.
Thanks for posting that - and continued prayer for both Jim’s on this prayer thread.
Thank you too for all that you have given us :-)!
God speed my friend.
Of course, you will have my prayers for as long as you need them.
God Bless you and yours in this trying time.
Cyber & Slippy.

PRAYER UP AND AT THE FOOT OF THE THRONE!
“Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord.”
- Isaiah 2:3
It is exceedingly beneficial to our souls to mount above this present evil
world to something nobler and better. The cares of this world and the
deceitfulness of riches are apt to choke everything good within us, and we
grow fretful, desponding, perhaps proud and carnal. It is well for us to
cut down these thorns and briers, for heavenly seed sown among them is not
likely to yield a harvest; and where shall we find a better sickle with
which to cut them down than communion with God and the things of the
kingdom? In the valleys of Switzerland many of the inhabitants are
deformed, and all wear a sickly appearance, for the atmosphere is charged
with miasma, and is close and stagnant; but up yonder, on the mountain,
you find a hardy race, who breathe the clear fresh air as it blows from
the virgin snows of the Alpine summits. It would be well if the dwellers
in the valley could frequently leave their abodes among the marshes and
the fever mists, and inhale the bracing element upon the hills. It is to
such an exploit of climbing that I invite you this evening. May the Spirit
of God assist us to leave the mists of fear and the fevers of anxiety, and
all the ills which gather in this valley of earth, and to ascend the
mountains of anticipated joy and blessedness.
May God the Holy Spirit cut the cords that keep us here below, and assist
us to mount! We sit too often like chained eagles fastened to the rock,
only that, unlike the eagle, we begin to love our chain, and would,
perhaps, if it came really to the test, be loath to have it snapped.
May God now grant us grace, if we cannot escape from the chain as to our
flesh, yet to do so as to our spirits; and leaving the body, like a
servant, at the foot of the hill, may our soul, like Abraham, attain the
top of the mountain, there to indulge in communion with the Most High.
Thank you for the ping, MB. I’ve had Emma all day and just now saw it.
Sorry if you have already been pinged, but thought all would want to know these prayers have been requested.
God bless and keep our dear Jim Robinson and bring healing to his circulation to save his legs.
Prayers for you Jim.
