You’re welcome, let me overload you with some other gems.

Both are espionage oriented....

David Ignatius’ Agents of Innocence, about the Muddled East but written in the early 80’s IIRC. Superb!

Another masterpiece is Larry Collins (of the Lapierre Combo and their great nonfiction books, Freedom at Midnight and Is Paris Burning) - Fall from Grace, about the deception campaign waged by the Allies against Germany regarding DDay, loosely based upon the real life adventures of Nora Khan and other memorable real life characters. Totally engrossing, IMO, of course.
