Is that stress showing in your face, Madonna, or attempts to defy the ravages of time?
Daily Mail UK ^ | July 27, 2008 | David Wilkes

Dressed up to the nines and wearing plenty of make-up, Madonna still manages to look pretty sensational for a woman rapidly approaching her half century.

But bare-faced and in short sleeves, she reveals some of the gruelling health and beauty regime behind the glamour.

Madonna, seen holding hands with her daughter Lourdes as they left a Kabbalah centre in New York, wore a T-shirt which exposed the veins standing out on arms subjected to endless workouts.

Madge needs to embrace being fifty and accept that there are 25 year olds now in ‘her’ place now in the music industry and evolve forward...not try to hang on to 1983. And the smart girls on top now in the music business need to invest well; surround themselves with honest people; and learn from Madonna’s (and others—think Cher for one) mistakes...and learn to age gracefully. Helen Mirren rocks...she looks her age...but with a healthy gusto that she (HM) is comfortable in her own (read ‘own’) skin.

To His Not-So-Coy Mistress

Time’s Wingèd Chariot (poets say)
Warns us to love while yet we may;
Must I not hurry all the more
Who find it parked outside my door?
For those who sipped Love in their prime
Must gulp it down at Closing Time.

She’s always sort of had arms like that.

She’s a dancer, my guess is she’s totally worked away and lost all her body fat. If she’s used to giving shots, maybe she’s done some steroids.

People don’t realize that as you get older, if you have no body fat, you get haggard and skeletal.

Madonna’s a Catholic-angsted endorphin/adrenaline junkie. She began as a classically trained ballet dancer (like Sarah Jessica Parker), then morphed into the NY pop scene where she dabbled in ballet/modern fusion, got discovered (probably by Soros if you consider her heathenization of American youth).

Her mom died when she was 6. Her father was hard on her; her videos reflect that.

She’s nuts, she almost single-handedly steered our culture nuts, but her psychoses are easy to identify.

She’s also a Leo as are Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Attention whores at the highest level.

Finally...good news for PaMom...given my ample reserves, I shall look rested and healthy in my coming years.

I have wondered about the 'roids myself. She is too muscular looking (but, hey...its not like she has a time limit on how long she can work out).

I recall an interview w/Madge and Rosie O'Donnell (during the time they were promoting their picture, A League of Their Own). Rosie said she knew, before she actually met Madonna, that she too had lost her mother young. My mom passed away when I was young also, and I too have always figured out who was raised with a mom, and who wasn't.

Yeah we're drinking and we're dancing
but there's nothing really happening
and the place is dead as Heaven on a Saturday night.

And my very close companion
gets me fumbling, gets me laughing
she's a hundred but she's wearing something tight!

and I lift my glass to the Awful Truth
which you can't reveal to the Ears of Youth
except to say it isn't worth a dime.

And the whole damn place goes crazy twice
and it's once for the devil and once for Christ,
but the Boss don't like these dizzy heights
we're busted in the blinding lights,
of CLOSING TIME

Hey, my daddy and my oldest daughter are Leos (Dad shares a birthday with Madonna, something he’s not thrilled with.) Dad’s the good kind-of Leo and proudly humble. We’ll see with the daughter!

Say, I wasn’t dissin Leos, just demostrating what power they have when the MSM gets behind them.

I love Leos, except when they’re running for Planetary Leader.

I think the problem is she is a perfectionist and is AFRAID to age, so she does things that are unnatural- like the cheek implants, working out way too much, and allegedly uses growth hormones (which also gives the harsh look). That, coupled with the fact that’s she’s a wee bit unlikable are why people take pleasure in her looking like sh*t. I, personally, don’t take pleasure in it, but I do wonder what the heck she is thinking!! I’d rather see someone age naturally and gracefully. Madonna is rich enough, she doesn’t have to fight aging. She has “f*ck you money,” which means she doesn’t need to impress anyone, anymore.

Oh, plus she is allegedly a homewrecker right now, and no-one likes those.

In her fifties she is starting to look like Mae West when she was an octogenarian.

What did Mae West ever do to you to deserve such a despicable attack.

Yes I do remember her...there are so few in Hollywood who age as nature intended.

Recently Bridgette Bardot was in the news for her sensiblities regarding her beloved France being taken over by Islamists (BB is very smart and well spoken). She was just trounced (here and on the celeb sites) for...HORROR...looking like a women in her late sixties! Wow...forget what she has to say...but, gee whiz, why hasn't she been under the knife?

So, basically what you are saying is, "Shelayne, get your butt in that kitchen and eat some brownies!"

Oh, I think Leos can go really bad when they do go bad, and entertainment and politics are full of the bad ones, because they need the adulation to survive. I once worked for a Leo that went to the Stalin school of leadership, but I have a boss now who is a Leo, and she's great. It's been a test of my patience to raise a Leo daughter, let me tell you...
