HEADLINE ON DRUDGE: "Dem Crackup, Biden Says Hillary Might Have Been Better Pick"
Drudgereport ^

Drudge picks up Biden's comments today that Hillary might have been the better vp pick then him. Interesting how Drudge leads with "Dem Crackup," suggesting a shakeup?

Is Biden, in G. Gordon Liddy’s words, offering to “go stand on a street corner” while someone takes him out? I’m sure Hillary would take that offer.

Biden is not getting dumped anytime soon. And Hillary is not going to jump on board a sinking ship if Biden is dumped.

And Hillary is not going to jump on board a sinking ship if Biden is dumped.

And as that ship sinks, she won't be throwing them any life jackets either.

“Biden is not getting dumped anytime soon. And Hillary is not going to jump on board a sinking ship if Biden is dumped.”

Correct.

Biden is bringing his campaigning ability to this ticket. Given the fact that Biden got fewer votes that Palin got in her Mayoral election, it might not be much help.

On a link from that, David Letterman asks Obama, “Have you ever actually put lipstick on a pig?”

“The answer would be no,” Obama responds. “But I think it might be fun to try.”

Go to Drudge, go down to the Bloomberg link, and you'll see this line buried:

`I mean you can't just make stuff up,'' he [Obama] told a crowd of 325. ``You can't just reinvent yourself. The American people aren't stupid.''

Same article, note that McCain/Palin in Lebanon (in an even not open to the public), nevertheless drew a crowd of 6,000, then 23,000 in VA!! Does anyone detect a trend here?

The model here is Thomas Eagleton, not Ft. Marcy Park.
I’m sure Biden could reveal some fatal flaw, like
having spoken in tongues or shot a moose.

> I’m sure Hillary would take that offer.

Nope. Hillary needs BHO2 to lose, so she can run in 2012.
At this point, the Empty Suit Messiah seems to be working
her plan without any effort on her part.

The only shake-up that will help the Dems at this point is to replace the heads of their ticket. Biden can be replaced at any time from now on, but there will be no gain in doing so.

The Dems will have to come to grips that the only paradigm that will trump the GOP team of Mavericks in McCain/Palin is to have a woman at the head of the ticket—ala Hillary.

Another man at VP, or at the top won’t do anything at this point.

Obama and his party thugs have now scripted the downward spiral through the rest of the campaign. McCain and Palin can only go up, and the debates will cement that.

The Dems made the following errors:

Hillary did not fight for top of the ticket at the convention. She took a dive, and we don’t know why yet.

Obama did not allow Hillary to be the VP. They would have been the most formidable ticket the Dems could have fielded.

Obama picked a zero for VP in Biden. Had he picked Richardson, since he was determined to pass over Hillary, at least it would have been a better ticket with more of a result to him.

The Dems know they have a losing hand and they will fight even harder to stave off the looming defeat.

"At this point, the Empty Suit Messiah seems to be working her plan without any effort on her part."

That is one great observation. I never thought of it.
She is nowhere to be seen.
An observer friend had her pegged at Carville's Orleans Restaurant last night.
The conversation had to be great.

The RATS that scared of losing and not getting back in the White House.

Why else is the zero meeting with bill?

“Biden is not getting dumped anytime soon. And Hillary is not going to jump on board a sinking ship if Biden is dumped.”

Sure she will. She has nothing to fear. If Bambi wins, she has 8 years to figure out how to get him whacked. If he loses, she runs in 2012.

Question is, will the media call it a desperation move or one of genius?

I disagree. If she is the #2 person on the ticket, the Chicago mob still controls the DNC. She needs to have them lose so badly that the party as a whole come begging to the Clintons to “lead us out of this wilderness.” She can smell blood already, and will go for the quick November kill.

Cause the democrat leadership made her face facts that she could not win without the black vote

I disagree. Here's why: If the campaign gets desperate enough to dump Biden, it will be too late at that point to be saved. In spite of his liabilities, Biden is not the one who appears to be coming unglued, BO is. Right now BO is the real problem on the ticket; and remember, he is the headliner.

Dumping Joe would be worse than keeping him. Hillary has a lot to lose coming onto a sinking ship this late in the game. If she did anything less than turn the ticket into an overnight steamroller, a much more dramatic jump start than Palin for McCain, then she will be labeled a loser. And losers don't get invited back.

A lot of former Clintonites moved to BO's camp and slipped a knife in her ribs. She owes them nothing, certainly not ruining her future aspirations in a futile attempt to save Obama. Her 2012 prospects are better if she keeps her distance from an imploding Obama campaign. If indeed that is what is truly happening now. What we are seeing now must go on longer, and get more pronounced before anyone should consider sticking a fork in Barry. The media isn't going to give up trying to resurrect him.

The mistake the dems made, IMO was not having BHO opt out like Romney did.

He should have given the beast the top spot and she would gleefully have given him the VP slot.

That would have been hard to beat.

If Hillary had usurped the Obamessiah he would have had his own PUMAs - lots of them.

Cankles has to let Obama self-destruct to leave her path clear for 2012. (Not that she won’t give him a bit of help if he needs it, but so far he’s doing fine on his own, and she’s smart enough not to interfere.)
