Hilarious episode. That’s the first thing that came to my mind.

That is because they were some of the first to make meaning with the power of montage-editing, framing, and directing. All media is emotional manipulation and these two were pioneers. I love learning the tools of the enemy if they are successful--one so they can not fool me and two to use against them and possibly to innovate. :-).
You should have said that the American Public is so “poorly educated” and left it at that. Boortz has it right calling the public schools “government indoctrination centers.”
Fritz Lang was offered the job of Nazi propagandist. He got the hell out. Leni Riefenstahl served the Nazi party by choice.
Lang’s wife stayed in Germany. Marlene Dietrich got out of Germany as well. In interviews, Dietrich stated that she had been approached by representatives of the Nazi Party to return to Germany, but had turned them down flat. Dietrich became an American citizen in 1939.
