Often times, if a mechanical part in a critical system is subjected to unusual stress, it will be replaced (and possibly used in a non-critical system) even if there is no observable sign of damage. The fact that the part is known to have been subjected to stress is sufficient reason to regard it as being potentially unreliable. The part may still be good enough to justify use in a non-critical system, but would no longer be considered fit for critical use.
In some regards, I would see people the same way. The role of President is an extremely important one. If there's even a slight possibility that a candidate might fail mentally, that would be a clear sign that one of the other 249,000,000 people in this country would likely be a better choice.
Considering that some aspects of Obama's character are consistent with psychological damage during childhood, I would think it best that he not be placed in such a critical position.

This certainly throws an interesting light on that poem he wrote at Occidental College, “Pop.”
I certainly think this is relevant, since it is one more reason to explain why Obama is a psycho.
He had an egotistical, bigamist, abusive father, who abandoned his son and was a perpetual alcoholic. Yet he longed to model himself on that drunken loser of a father.
He had a hateful Communist mother, who also abandoned her child so she could “fulfill” herself with her various left wing activities.
He had a hateful grandfather, also apparently a Communist, who introduced him to a Communist mentor straight from Uncle Joe Stalin, who apparently fed whiskey to the kid and seems to have seduced and raped him. His grandfather named his mother “Stanley,” because he wanted a boy and refused to accept the girl who appeared instead.
The only decent one of the bunch—although we know very little about her—appears to be his white grandmother, who has been locked away where no one can interview her. Evidently she’s the one who earned the money that put him through that expensive private school.
As we often remarked while Bill Clinton was in office, you don’t run for president because it will be therapeutic for you. The White House is not a psychiatrist’s couch.
Is it Obama’s fault that he appears to be a narcissistic psychopath (”We are the one we have been waiting for,” etc.) who hates white, hates Christians, hates babies, and hates his adopted country? Perhaps so, perhaps not, but that doesn’t mean he should be handed our country as therapy treatment.
Some people have very difficult childhoods but rise above them and become good persons. Others do not. Obama still appears to be filled with the hatreds and pathologies among which he was brought up. He has been outwardly successful, but appears to be rotten within.
That’s irresponsible. You should be ashamed. You’re as bad as Dems who just make stuff up as they get themselves worked up into a lather.
Kerry would have used his influence to prevent Matt from using his wine merchant. Obama's got a Chicago background. I used the word target for that reason.
How many look at Drudge that wouldn’t see it in the Enquirer in the supermarket line (or their spouses) anyway
