Vanity: Ask a liberal! (Do Viking Kitties wear boxers or briefs?)
VANITY: A liberal's mind (yea, that's an oxymoron)

OK, I’ll bite.

Since the top 10 percent of earners in this country pay something like 76 percent of federal income tax already, and the bottom half of earns pay about 3 1/2 percent of income taxes, how much more do you and your fellow socialists er, I’m sorry, I mean liberals, think “rich” people should have to pay? 90 percent? 98 percent?

I’m afraid you expect a little too much inconvenience from someone who just helped elect The Oaf of Office.

"Fire away!"

In my experience, liberalism is like this beautiful lagoon. As a conservative, I know that just below the surface of that placid scene lies a multitude of hungry sharks. As a conservative, I refuse to jump in. You as a liberal will readily jump in (and drag me in with you if I don't dispose of your sorry behind first). After having jumped in, you scream and thrash about and curse the conservatives for not saving you.

If the government takes away all of the conservatives resources and gives those resources to the liberals, in a year's time the conservatives will have recovered and liberals will be right back where they started from - broke and sitting on square one waiting for another handout.

I’m giving him a break on that one. Maybe Kenya was out of paper in 1961.

“let’s leave the 9/11 conspiracies and the guilt-by-association (Ayers, Wright, Liddy, etc) stuff alone”

Considering that our commander-in-chief-to-be cannot get a security clearance because of his associations unapologetic domestic terrorists, his association with Ayers is highly relevant.

Is it that hard to imagine two people with different opinions having a good-natured discussion? I’m trying to open a dialogue about why things are going wrong, for both sides, and this is the best question you can ask?

I've never called liberals some of those filthy things they have said about us. The truth is that we don't know the answers to some of the things you accuse us of as being distractions. Please forgive me if I don't want to talk to you. We wanted honest answers. All we got were distortions and spin. It was fair to ask the questions and expect honest answers.

You probably won't be very welcome around here. Another time, I might have welcomed you myself. I will never forget what you did to Bush, deserved or not, and especially what you and the media did to Sarah Palin.

A very small minority of us never really supported McCain anyway. I would have rather had Romney, but a Mormon didn't stand a chance, and I am not of that denomination. It shows how bigoted this country truly is against people who believe differently and a lone conservative woman who was no more flawed than anybody else.

So long.

And please, if you want to know why I hate America, it's all about reality TV (<-- sarcasm); real questions, please.

So you're saying that you actually *do* love America? Prove it. What about her, her people, and her institutions do you love in comparison to other parts of the world? How have you shown it?

Yes, with a caveat concerning the nature of the work; there was an incident in Germany a couple of years ago about a woman being kicked off off welfare after being offered a job as a prostitute. I think we can all agree that that should not happen.

At the same time, I think the best way to get people off of welfare is to educate them so that they can get better jobs. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

P.S. thank you for the question! This is exactly the sort of thing that needs to be discussed, and hasn’t been, this year.

One question-
What in Obama’s history gives you reason to trust him on any of his promises?

Politicians, after all, are one step below used car salesmen in the honesty scale. What, in his history (not just rhetoric) gives you any reason to believe anytinthing he promises? At that, how much in his history shows his promises are lies (tax increase cut-off at $250k for example- his history shows he voted for increases for folks over $40k- his actions show his rhetoric is a lie)..

In the ballad of Gilgamesh one of the chorus lines is. "A slippery path is nothing to two who help each other."

Liberals believe that the stronger should carry the weaker one on their back.

I for one am tired of a bunch of slackers hitching a ride on my back.

So are a lot of us producers, go look at the stock market today.

Atlas is shrugging and the slackers are not going to get one thing they mistakenly think they deserve!

I think the best way to get people off of welfare is to educate them so that they can get better jobs.

Then why don't YOU educate them? Why do you insist on playing the apathy card and passing the buck to the system that created the educational system that put them in the circumstances in the first place. Its like sending someone back to the mechanic who screwed up their car, to fix his own screw up. Why is it that we've spent $11Trillion dollars on the 'war on poverty', yet we are told that things are getting worse, and worse, and worse.. definition of insanity anyone?

I wonder why the media did not investigate Pres elect Obama the way that they did Gov Palin, or for that matter Joe the plumber.
I wonder why the electorate believes Pres elect Obama will lower their taxes when he promised twice to take public funding and then recanted.
I wonder what a Nationa Civilian Security Force as well funded as the US Military looks like.
I wonder what recruitment in the military will look like since it appears that the military will be de-funded.
I wonder why, when Pres elect Obama said he would make government transparent, that his fundraising accepted foreign contributions, credit card contributions by Doodad Proo and Good Will in amounts $7,000 over the campaign limits.
I wonder why, with no real political accomplishments (the Obama-Lugar act was passed 98-0 on a voice vote it was so un-controversial) anyone could consider him an agent of change or a unifier.
Just some of the things I wonder about. Oh, and can we pleeze see his birth certificate (not a COLB)

Good question:

The answer is twofold; first, most of us didn’t vote FOR Obama, we voted AGAINST McCain, by which most us mean Bush. Yes, they are different, but frankly, Obama’s stated positions aren’t too different from theirs, either.

Second, if a little more opposition had been voiced about his positions instead of over-the-top horror about Ayers, Wright, and Socialism (Eisenhower supported a 92% tax rate on the rich, was he a socialist?), you might have forced Obama to defend these things instead of coasting to victory.

We all deserve better, on both sides.

You know what I dislike about libs, they always want to share their feelings.

Quite frankly I don't care how you feel.

You are not the center of the universe.

Tammy Bruce defined liberalism best as ‘malignant narcissism’ and you illustrate it well.
