Sorry- my sense of humor has faded since the election. I know I will need to get it back; in tough times a sense of humor can keep you sane.

Yes, we have to laugh to keep from crying! The only good news I can see is, it’s much easier to blame Obama for the next 4 years than it was to defend Bush! ;)

"sub-saharan africa, which is replete with oil, gold, diamonds"

Well, I was specifically referring to our farmland in that instance, which is among the richest on the planet. It'll sustain us until we get this mess sorted out.

Don't forget that the Ukraine was known as the "breadbasket of Europe" 'til Stalin got his hands on it.

Okay. I won't forget.

We have enough resources to sustain us.

"We have enough resources to sustain us."

I'm not arguing that point...I'm simply pointing out that even the most fertile, productive, resource rich, abundant areas on earth fail to realize their potential when subjected to central planning of the type Obama and his ilk would simply love to impose. It's all about control. You're free to deny it all you like, but doing so doesn't make it otherwise.

"I’ve yet to meet, or even know personally, anyone who has lost their job, their home or insurance."

Either you don't get around much or you don't know very many people.

As the great Yogi Berra once said, “It’s hard to predict anything, especially the future”.

I heard him on Noory’s show. He had me going until he talked about Zero Point Energy.

I heard him on George Noory's Coast to Coast AM show also. Celente mentioned Zero Point Energy in answering the question of how his scenario could be wrong. Then he mentioned ZPE and some other game changer, as in some unforseen positive scientific development that, if invented, would provide great economic benefits.

What's left to destroy? The Banksters have it all.

Hate to tell ya, but the cost of living is not less in Mexico. If anything, it’s actually more. The only thing that is less expensive down there is the alcohol, which is to keep the people drunk and not thinking about their problems. Everything else is much, much more expensive than it is here. People come here to buy food, clothes, electronics, and much, much more.
