Oh, I love that, Molly! Including the "Wagner" Section.:-)

Sweeney Todd is very dark, but Little Shop, in spite of the gruesome theme, is very, very funny and entertaining. It is intended as a spoof; a send-up, if you will, of all of those Grade B sci-fi pics of the 50's and 60's. The music is quite raucous...lots of doo-wop and 60's rock, and a bit of hard rock thrown in there & there; and a couple of campy ballads.

We got a 4-star review in our local paper. The reviewer mentioned "the strong orchestra". He often doesn't say a word about the orchestra at all so I took this as a compliment.:)

The deadline for responding is Nov. 28. I didn’t check it out, but hubby says the Big Guys (he cited USDA, Dept Commerce, Dept Transportation) have all weighed in with multi-page letters condemening such a radical measure.

Dept of Transportation....good point there. Meat gets transported by trucks, and just imagine the decrease in business for overland haulers should such a cow/pig tax go into effect and decrease production and demand.

Would like to ask for prayers for my fil. At age 84 he’s having a total shoulder replacement in about an hour. He’s never been in the hospital overnight before.

Also my mil has shingles. She’s very broken out with lesions although they are getting better and the hospital gave her permission to be in fil’s room. All she had been able to do during his pre-op visits was stay in the lobby.

Anyway, I’d appreciate some prayers for both of them, thanks.

Perfect choice. Why would you want anyone in that post who knew anything about health or human services? s/

Well, that was fun! Not! The snow was so wet it wouldn’t blow out the snowblower chute. I ended up plowing the snow with the snowblower.

Can’t you just see him sitting in a booster seat at the committee meetings? Throwing little fits and wiping tears from his face ?

All these Clinton/Clinton era retreads...

Okay, a thought and question here which'll sound provocative, but isn't really meant to be..;-))

At a certain level, I understand the argument for withholding criticism of Pres. Bush since he has been our CinC during a time of war...but I'm pretty sure that if I had lived during WWII, I wouldn't have refrained from critizing Roosevelt, while overall supporting the war, of course, so basically I reject the argument...

BUT IF I didn't....would that mean I should now withhold my blasts at Nobama??

:-)) I'm sure you can decipher this question, Bit...LOL!
