We were at Great Lakes 8 yrs ago...in December--(old times sake, my husband did 'basic' there)...
..Those poor recruits were drilling in knee deep snow...thank goodness for those pea coats!...It never got above 20 degrees for the whole week.

Good morning, Guennie-Bear! Well, we shall see. I'm heading out in my 4 wheel drive at about 3 am MST. I would not be going in at all except we are doing a proof pressure test today on a brand new fuel tank research and development design and I have to be there. I just received a big commendation for my work on this tank, so I am pretty enthusiastic about testing it, even if it means having to drive in in this nightmare. It looks like about 4 inches. Probably more over on the southwest side of town. I'll be fine in my 4 wheeler.
