Would you like some corn to go with your cheese ;)

LOL All we need are some burgers and we've got ourselves a meal. ;-)

You’re opening graphic gave me a big laugh. I don’t think we could be any worse off with a President Sanjaya.

About last night’s contestants—I didn’t like the boy with the show biz voice, who is already a professional, having appeared in Broadway musicals.

However, I loved Kai, the youmg man who takes care of his mom. He has great possibilities.

I don’t remember anyone else from last night. Guess they weren’t strong enough to make an impression.

Hey there!

sorry I missed you guys again. I thought I’d be home in time to watch the show live but alas, had a meeting until 7 that I forgot about. :/

I hope to be on tonight. Maybe a little late though.

jonny, LOL at the Sanjaya pic. Cracked up when I saw that.

RK, was reading your comments on the coconut oil. I have EXTREMELY dry skin in the winter (with dry skin normally anyway). Plus, my hair is very fine so I need conditioning quite often.

I’m definitely willing to give it a try. Any advice is welcome.

Led by American Idol, Fox got over the “hump” in winning fashion, with a 1.1 metered market rating point advantage over second-place ABC. Third overall on Wednesday was CBS, followed by NBC and the CW. Of note was five hours of the programming being devoted to our new President, Barack Obama.

I have to say, I thought last night’s show was actually pretty dull. I’m not a fan of the auditions shows anyway, but even by that standard, I found very little to be interesting.

We missed you!

Look for virgin or extra virgin coconut oil. It’s a little on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way. It’s a solid below 77 degrees, so it’s white and chunky in the jar.

What I do is just take a little, liquefy it in my palms and then just run my hands through my hair. It’s really oily at first and then it kind of soaks in. I leave it in overnight and when I get up it looks like I haven’t washed my hair in 3 days. LOL I either have to wash it twice or use vinegar diluted in water to get it all out. The craziest part is that I noticed that for the next few days after I use it, I don’t lose as much hair in the shower.

I do the same for my skin, take a little chunk, liquefy it in my hands and rub it in. I still use a little regular lotion occasionally, but I don’t have to use as much.

Here is an article about coconut oil. It’s kind of long, so if you skip down to “Coconut oil on your hair and scalp” about halfway down, it gives some good info from there on.

http://www.coconut-connections.com/skin_care.htm

Some people claim it’s this panacea that’s going to cure everything you could possibly throw at it, but I don’t really believe that. Some natural/alternative healing people are a little nuts that way. But it has been great on my hair and skin. I haven’t been brave enough to try it on my face yet.

Thanks! Great advice.

I’m looking forward to giving it a try. One more question...when you sleep with it, do you wear anything on your head or do you just go commando? LOL! I don’t want my pillow getting all greasy.

do you just go commando?

LMAO That's one of those phrases that always cracks me up.

I go commando. I haven't had any problems with it messing up my pillows, but I imagine you could put a shower cap on or if your hair is long, wrap it in a bun or something.

But he’d probably say something stupid about Indian people working at call centers to the leader of India triggering a nuclear “incident”...

That would almost make a good 24 episode. ;)

Variety is a good thing, if not, they wouldn't have needed that fourth judge!

I really don't think Kara adds anything. She just makes Paula behave herself and that's so boring!

I think its too soon to say, regarding Kara. I was just commenting on their comment about needing variety so they added Kara, so I thought the same should apply regarding mentors.

It would be on a “24” parody, “8”.

Their slogan could be, “They punch out at 4:59.”
