Honda launches Wave 110i motorcycle
The company claims that new Honda Wave 110i is powered by a four-stroke 110cc engine with built-in air cooling. It features PGM-FI technology, which creates a new standard for the family category.
According to the company, the Wave 110i motorcycle will be sold at a starting price of THB34,000 (USD $982.17). Honda is targeting sales of 400,000 units per year for the Wave 110i.
Zenjiro Sakurai, president of AP Honda, said: "In 2009, consumers are expected to be more discerning when they make major purchases, ensuring they get the greatest benefits. With its unique values of trust, economy and utility, the innovative Honda Wave 110i is expected to meet consumer demands."
Its a girlybike...man.
Because we all know that aftermarket air cooling never cuts it.
Those Benellis look good with the six trumpet exhaust. If I remember correctly, they just took the Honda 550 -4 engine and added two cylinders.
“To serve riders who prefer to decorate their bikes in their own unique styles, Honda offers a wide range of C-parts for enhanced decoration that meets customer demands and also provides a collection of fashionable apparel that matches the new model.”
Enhanced Decoration? Fashionable Apparel?
A friend when I was in college in Iowa City had a 3 cyl Laverda Jota. Untill the 4 cyl Kawasaki was released, it was the fastest thing I’d ever seen. Loud as hell, too.
SInce my Kaw won’t start when it gets below 45 F, I might get one to get me between the subway station and back. It won’t bother me as much to dump it, in bad weather. With its limited speed, I wouldn’t deal with as many tickets, either.
Did I mention I hate cars?
For the love of Mike, don’t do it man!
You’d have much more fun with a Ruckus. The aftermarket support is phenominal.
Plus, they’re a chick magnet . . .
