I've not had any trouble finding them. Paying for them, however, is becoming increasingly challenging.

I stopped by a WalMart here in Reno on Saturday and bought their last box of .45 ACP FMJ...only a box of 50. The Winchester 100-round, FMJ target-loads that I normally use were not available, and the shelves were pretty bare of 9mm Lugar.
Academy Sports and Outdoors? No I haven’t, but there’s a couple around Little Rock I can check out. Thanks.
In San Diego Walmart has eliminated ammunition sales from all but one or two of their stores.
This is NOT the day before the snow storm.
More like the day before the $#!+ storm.
California being on the edge of new ideas and developments, I hope that’s not a sign of things to come eastward. :-(
I’m guessing that the shortage is caused by people buying up available supplies faster than manufacturers can replenish them, and manufacturers seeing this buying spree as a short-term phenomenon that does not justify their adding a shift to increase production capacity. They figure that once the hoarders have a sufficient supply, that demand will drop to normal (or below normal if there is no new anti-gun legislation in the first six months and hoarders decide to just use up their stash rather than buying new stuff)
Why the he&% would anyone still live in CA?
I was in one the other day and they had cases of shotgun shells but I didn’t look for bullets for rifles or pistols, etc.
Midway USA is about cleaned out of their lower cost 9mm luger. They do have some of the more expensive 9mm, though.
The five Wal-Marts I visited had shotgun shells too, it was just the rifle/pistol shells that were gone.
Yep i loaded up on my calibers last year when all the candidates turned out to be socialists and have been sitting on them.
What are you, some kind of masochist?
I’d rather have a root canal sans anesthetic than visit multiple Wal-Marts on the same day
I’ve ben there two weeks running, we have all the ammo any Dick-tator could ever need. But, they did ask me for and record my Driver’s License numbers. I have never had this done before.
Unfortunately Wal-Marts are about the only thing left in small rural towns.
Plenty at your Wal-Marts? That’s curious. I guess Florida ranks higher. The one I bought the 2 boxes from did not ask for my license.
The only reason I will step in a WM is for the ammo. They have the best prices bar none.
Need to ping for my husband to read...
And you gave it to them???
I had a hard time getting primers. Took about a month for them to restock.
