Isn’t that wonderful? GWB left office knowing he had done everything in his power to keep the nation safe. He had done his duty to the best of his ability, and done it honorably. History, not the polls, will be his judge. And, imo, he will be judged well indeed.
Now he can carry on his own personal life without the need for the limelight we’ve observed in some ex-POTUSes, who need not be named.

My 91-year-old mother has a hard time getting her head around “Barack Hussein Obama,” but I tell her that they ask people “who is the President of the United States” when they’re determining mental competence.
The question ought to be, “did you vote for the dumb*ss?”

You are correct! They asked that question of my mother in December 2000! When she stumbled, and they started squawking, I looked at the "examiners" and asked; "Do YOU know who it is at this point?" They conceded and went on with other questions. *snicker*
And a little something under the jacket - oh I forgot he is in Texas now. That bulge wouldn’t draw attention.
I can only imagine the same scene in four years. However, Obamamateur will take great umbrage in not being recognized. Rahm Emanuel will be behind him screaming “Peon, don’t you know who this is?!!”
