Facebook Users: Don't Click on Barack Obama
3/11/09 | farsider

Posted on 03/11/2009 5:07:55 AM PDT by far sider

Yesterday, I noticed that a friend's Facebook page said that she "became a supporter of Barack Obama." I was surprised by this, because I know her well enough to know that she would never support what Obama promotes and stands for. So out of curiosity I clicked on "Barack Obama" to see what was on his Facebook page.

I spent less than a minute there. I didn't sign or click anything or accept any requests to be an Obama supporter, friend or fan. When I got back to my own page, there was an entry saying that I was one of 5 million plus Obama supporters. I immediately deleted the entry.

I just wanted to let fellow Freepers know about yet another deceptive tactic of the shameless Obama campaign. Never click on Obama!

Not much of a Facebook user, but thanks for the heads-up. Why does this not surprise me in the least? Is this compulsory act not emblematic of liberals. Deceit, lies, Wikipedia scrubbing Obama’s site. Google allowing Bush bombs but ensuring Obama is protected. Just add Facebook to the list.

It asks you to click on the picture if yo want to be a fan of Barry. All you have to do is remove it, not a big deal.

Now that you’re an Obama supporter you have to resign from Free Republic. Sorry - those are the rules. ;o)

Thanks for the heads up! I keep hearing about Facebook nightmares lately and now I am getting “Facebookparanoia.” lol! I am not a member and I feel like once you sign up you are in a precarious world. Fox had one of their reporters hacked and they represented themselves as relatives in need of money in an emergency. They advise you to contact your friends relatives off of Facebook if that should happen.

**Sorry - those are the rules.**

Although it is a typical Liberal tactic .. If you don’t take the time to read it ... Liberals are that stupid.. and the LIBERAL LEADERS KNOW IT.

What is “Facebook”?

It's just the 21st century passing you by. Now, back to your hole.

Yes!!!

It’s sooooo comnfortable here in my technological black hole.

I’ve got my HP41CV, Programmable, Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) calculator here with me. I’ve got my IBM 8088 PC, with 4 (count them FOUR) raging MHz of clock speed, not one but TWO 5-1/4” floppy drives, and to top it all off, its runnning MSDOS 1.1, not that out-moded v1.0!

AND, I’ve got an Atari game system with more than 20 game cartridges, including the Pole Position car racing game - which is only the BEST racing game EVER!!!

I’m all set.

Sounds exactly like my first XT/Turbo! I eventually saved enought to buy a (gasp) HardDrive. A FULL 10Megabytes. It dimmed the lights in the house when you turned it on. All the storage anyone would ever need in a lifetime!

Didn't have the Atari though. I went all the way with the TI99 4/A. What a screamer.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only person who doesn’t do facebook or any of those sites. I don’t want to spend that kind of time on the computer.

Most of the social networking and such type of things do. It gets amazing what niche interests there are out there...
