I did like Steve Martin’s little ditty too. But I WILL download Cookie’s song to his late brother. It’s beautiful and very sad, and it’s for a good cause. No one should have to die so young.

Where were you all season? I enjoyed your claw ratings last year.

I hope you are right. If you look at all of Adam’s performances, he was quite versatile. He COULD dial himself back. He chose not to, on many occasions, and if he lost because of his theatrics and screaming, that would be fair. I was not crazy about his screaming either.

But his “Mad World” was amazing and gave me chills, just like when Cookie sang the Lionel Richie song. And he did well with the Freddie Mercury song tonight; he was quite careful NOT to copy Freddie (who the hell ever could do that justice anyway?) but he could manage the range and the power where Kris could not.

Then how could you like him so much? The screams were his signature on just about every song he sang. Or did you fail to notice that?

Johnny, God bless you for what you do with this wonderful thread every year, and your astounding artwork that accompanies it.

Til next year, take care...

And thanks again...

Ed

He was to me quite obviously packed with so much talent and a brilliant vocal range, and some of the songs even called for the rock “scream.” I am not a fan of screaming but he did it on pitch and strong. Just because I don’t adore the screaming parts does not mean I don’t clearly recognize his superior talent.

Did Randy borrow his bowtie from a circus clown?

Randy really looked like the Uncle Ben guy on his wedding day. What was up with that? He's a good looking dawg, "for me for you."

He probably took advantage of the Danny Gokey discount at Lenscrafters.

Funniest post of the night.

Even just in that pic, you can see Robert Reed wishing he had been shot prior to taking this job. (And you can understand.)

Sadly Kris’s mom’s dress made it look like she was wearing a baby sling with her boob in it instead of a baby.

I felt the years come crashing around me looking at Rod Stewart. When he sang his “Tonight’s the Night” half my school lost their virginity. He was the cat’s meow back then. Um, things have changed. He is stumbling and can barely eke out his normally vibrant croak. If he is old, I must be old...

he could also sing some Elvis stuff no doubt...I was for Adam for which I’ve been told I may need a counselor....

He will do well regardless...I will await his CD, but I better check with the counselor first if I should buy it...

I agree, lots of hate on here for him because he’s gay, hidden sometimes by other unfounded criticism, IMO.

I didn’t see it as pimping, although I may need counseling, more that they saw his unbelievable talent, natural ability. He’s only 27, lots of time left for a successful future in music.
