Skip to comments.Top 10 crazy political commentators
Posted on 05/04/2009 8:44:49 AM PDT by Responsibility2nd
1. Bill OReilly
2. Keith Olbermann
3. Ann Coulter
4. Michael Savage
5. Rush Limbaugh
6. Sean Hannity
7. Chris Matthews
8. Geraldo Rivera
9. Dennis Miller
10. Glenn Beck
Larry King? Rachel Maddow? Stephen Colbert? Jon Stewart?
LMFAO! Miller is on there over Beck? Are you fscking kidding me? Miller is the tamest, most entertaining talker I’ve heard in a while. I love the hell out of Beck, but he’s clearly higher on the list if you’re going based on this media outlet’s standards.
For the most part, the other conservative commentators use facts to back up what they say.
It is easier to find errors on any page of a major newspaper than it is to find errors in what Rush, Coulter, or Hannity say in a given day.
Shepard Smith is a true whackjob.
Envious comments from a second rate newsman for a third rate newspaper.
Rachel Maddow, Stephen Colbert, and Jon Stewart certainly belong in the top 10.
Limbaugh, Hannity, and O’Reilly definitely are not “crazy.”
Where is Alex Jones? He is a paranoid schizo
Michael Savage is nuts as well
Rinos are cowards... not all democrats are cowards..
The leanest meanest RINO EXPOSER of all time is Ann Coulter..
Liberals could care less about her.. NoN-liberals LOVE her..
Its the RINOs that despise her..
You have got to be kidding. “Stupid coward”. Bill does more to help children and donates more to help those less fortunate than you could ever hope. Idiot.
I guess Bill Maher is “sane”.
Limbaugh should be nowhere near that list.
Bill O’reilly is NOT a conservative.
Bill O’reilly is a populist.
I have a great deal of conservative support, on that point.
Yes, I appreciate it when BO drives home the obvious. I appreciate it when BO shames a true leftist.
However, populism is NOT conservatism.
Conservatives should strive for popular support by EXPLAINING our issues -—
But BO has no interest in explaining conservative issues that are not yet popular with the voters.
BO repeats the liberal MSM memes on most issues.
Any list without Rachel Mad-cow near the top is badly flawed.
Stephen Colbert? Jon Stewart?
Not to mention that flaming jackass, Bill Maher.
That’s not his job. He’s a talk show host, not a repub, dem, or anything else. Calling him a “stupid coward” because he does not share your views is, well, stupid.
I forgot about Maher.
He definitely is nuts.
And what is the name of that leftist hag that used to be on Air America?
Now THAT was one mean and nasty b-word!
My Gal and I went to a Dennis Miller show in Las Vegas and he was terrific. His stand up monologue was hilariously funny and incredible on-target.
Sititng next to us was a man that appeared to be a Union type that probably never heard of Dennis Miller. In short, he couldn’t take it and he and his gal walked out early.
Their walkout added to our enjoyment of Miller’s show.
Dennis Miller got my respect after he defended Admiral Stockdale, after all the ridiculing he took after the 92 debate, and no, I didn't even vote for Perot.
I’d say Olberman, Savage and Matthews are pretty darn wacky. Dennis Miller is the voice of sanity, and Coulter is just wonderful. I’m not a fan of the rest, but they aren’t crazy, by any measure. Maher should definitely be on any crazy list.
I think Dennis Miller is great as a standup comedian. Is he doing a radio show again now?
Bill hates SUV’s, the Second Amendment and believes in that hoax: man-made-global-warming!
He is not close to being a conservative!
Yes, and it is hilarious. Much better than when he’s on O’Reilly. He’s usually on the same station that carries Medved, Hewitt, and Prager.
Who gives a damn if he’s conservative or not. Do you and kansas live your lives in such a political vaccuum that unless someone believes exactly the way you do they are stupid cowards? If so, you have a sorry life.
Do I think the way Bill does, heck no in many respects. But I do believe he cares deeply about the rights and lives of children and “walks the walk” in that regard.
This is just another media drive by. This list isn’t even fun. “Who the most crazy” big deal... What a waste of white space. There’s only 3 that deserve to be on that list... care to guess who? They usually are the ones at the bottom of the ratings...
You don’t think it’s a tad...well, goofy when he says “The Factor” will take on some problem and solve it?
“Thats not his job. Hes a talk show host, not a repub, dem, or anything else. Calling him a stupid coward because he does not share your views is, well, stupid.”
Actually he is. When he called Free Republic right whack jobs and lied about a statement made by a Freeper about Hillary Clinton, he solidified his place as a stupid coward.
As far as the comment about Hillary goes, I know for a fact he lied because I made the comment.
No one is crazier than Olbermann
It looks like parts of his radio show are available on iTunes. How often does he go on O’Reilly?
The most insane are those who neither you nor they listed — the so-called mainstream ones. Olbermann is more sane than a Brokaw, because Olbermann is so obviously insane that even he is self-aware of it. Brokaw? In denial of his insanity.
These are times in which the common consensus — at least in major media — is truly insane.
1. Jon Stewart
2. Keith Olbermann
3. Stephen Colbert
4. Chris Matthews
5. Larry King
6. “The View”
7. David Letterman
8. Katie Couric
9. Charles Gibson
10. The rest of the MSM
I think it’s once a week. I don’t watch O’Reilly except by accident, so I’m not sure.
Bill O’Reilly is a stupid coward for reasons unrelated to his political positions. A coward for having no principles or integrity. Stupid because he exults in his own ignorance (I have actually seen him brag about not reading books before interviewing the authors).
NO, of course not!
O’Reilly is an opportunist. O’Reilly does not want to spade the ground, or do any work, to DEVELOP any conservative cause, he just wants to ride the populist wave of any movement that already exists.
O’Reilly jumps on the band wagon for causes that ALREADY have broad popular support. Yes, it is nice that O’Reilly has been someone helpful on the prolife issue, but if you want my opinion, O’Reilly actually hurt our prolife former AG, Phil Kline, through O’Reilly’s egotistical suggestion that he might have received (illegal) “inside information” from our AG.
Besides, the prolife view is a MAJORITY view, and beyond that, there are so few media types that are prolife, O’Reilly knows full well that he will get great market share on that issue. Again, no courage is involved.
O’Reilly is an idiot on taxes.
O’Reilly is an idiot on economics.
O’Reilly is an idiot on global warming.
O’Reilly was a complete idiot on the Iraq War, using the “No WMD” meme all the time.
He trashed Bush and Cheney much more than he does Obama and Biden and if he doesn't stop saying "there are loons on both sides", I'm going throw my TV down the hill!
Bill O’Reilly is Ted Baxter. Utterly clueless & embarasses himself constantly with his lack of insight.
Good on him for charity work. It is to be expected of anyone with his wealth.
This list is a farce...........
Admiral Stockdale’s opening lines in the VP debate of 1992 were: “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?”: and Stockdale received applause for those words.
Liberals, however, used Stockdale’s performace to end his political career.
Nonetheless, as Stockdale said those words, my mind went to Ayn Rand’s opening words to the 1974 West Point graduates — where she said:
“Since I am a fiction writer, let us start with a short short story. Suppose tht you are an astronaut whose spaceship gets out of control and crashes on an unknown planet. When you regain consciousness and find that you are not hurt badly, the first three questions in your mind would be: ‘Where am I? How can I discover it? What should I do?’”
That Ayn Rand speech, titled “Philosophy, Who Needs It,” is widely known inside military circles; and it might have been in the 1992 mind of Admiral Stockdale.
Hey sport, I don’t care how he votes. When he mouths off and lies about things I care deeply about; I call him on BS.
Get A Grip!
