I think it was during the Peterson case (first one, not the 4th wife one) that I learned something like 95% of women who are murdered while pregnant turn out to have been killed by their husbands! That’s like a huge “he did it” sign hanging over the widower’s head...
I remember that the stats were cooked. The killers were rarely husbands but often boyfriends (IMO the reason the press sensationalized a husband doing the killing). There were some threads on FR at the time about it.
