I've never liked KISS. Ever.
But now I respect Simmons.

I would expect nothing less from Gene. One of the best marketer's of our time but does not let it really mess his head up.

God works in mysterious ways:
When Farah met St Peter at the pearly gates, he asked her what she wanted. Farah said, “Ask God to protect the children.”
About an hour later, Michael Jackson died of a heart attack.
Seriously, I agree 100% with Gene.

Who anointed Michael Jackson the 'King of Pop'? Nobody asked me to vote. The media tells us who to idolize. Yes, Jackson was talented. But his output was relatively limited and MTV kept playing the same Jackson videos over and over in the 80's until I wanted to scream. SOS same old same old.
He was a physically handsome young man until he started to change his skin color. What kind of troubled person would go to such extremes to change his skin color and his Afro-American facial features?
That said, I offer prayers up for his children and his grieving family.

KISS never was nor never would be my ‘cup of tea.’ but Simmons has consistently been very traditional, conservative in his personal views.

My comment? I recognize and respect his talent, but the rest is very tainted. And I want to hear the truth, once and for all.”
Yup.

Gene Simmons, for all the fame and fortune, actually strikes me as one who has his head screwed on (mostly) straight.
He's not one of this uber-liberal self-hating Jews (born in Israel, real name is Chaim Witz). He's actually pretty conservative, both fiscally and socially. Yeah, he does sleep with ALOT of women...but here are a couple of quotes of his:
"I'm ashamed to be surrounded by people calling themselves liberal who are, in my opinion, spitting on the graves of brave American soldiers who gave their life to fight a war that wasn't theirs...in a country they've never been to... simply to liberate the people therein"
...and regarding America...
"I wasn't born here. But I have a love for this country and its people that knows no bounds. I will forever be grateful to America for going into World War II, when it had nothing to gain, in a country that was far away... and rescued my mother from the Nazi German Concentration Camps. She is alive and I am alive because of America. And, if you have a problem with America, you have a problem with me".
He was a supporter of the Bush tax cuts (he's a business man) and a supporter of the Iraq War.

Knew what? All Gene Simmons was saying is what most people already know. He didn't have any 'insider' information.

Did Gene really need to comment? Even if the media and fans asked? Gene slept with thousands of women, his wife is a soft-porn star...and he has put his own kids in the spotlight on his reality show....do not judge lest ye be judged. I pray that Michael is at peace now.
To: taxtruth
What would you have ANYONE do? MJ was closely controlled by his Father and the rest of his Klan. Access was VERY difficult.

I watched some of the shows on The Apprentice with him. OH man, what an ego. He went down thinking he knew better than the Kodak executive. It was a funny thing to watch.
