I was in a resturaunt today and heard a song from either the sxties or seventies. the gist of the song was that as long as we are together we may not have much money... reminded me of different younger times. Any one have an idea what the name of the song could be.
I remembered the words as I heard them but cant put it together now that I am not distracted.

Just looked up found it on U tube sung by anne murray. A man sung the version I was listening to. It did nt sound so country.

OK, Thanks. I can hear just about the whole thing in my head, lyrics and all, but I didn't even recognize "Danny's Song" when I read it on the thread.
