An unknown man has raped two women in Dallas so far this month after he intentionally crashed his vehicle into their cars and they pulled over to exchange information, police said Monday.
Police believe the same man attacked women in separate incidents. At that time, a woman told Dallas police that she was driving northbound on Marsh Lane near Forest Lane when her car was hit from behind by a pickup.
When she pulled into a parking lot, the man in the truck hit her three to four more times, police said in a news release.
The man got out of his truck and told the woman that he wanted to exchange information with her, the news release states.
At some point, the man pulled out a knife and put the woman into his vehicle, according to the news release. The man drove her to the back of a shopping center and raped her.
On Aug. 2, authorities believe the same man intentionally crashed his vehicle into another woman’s car in the 2700 block of West Davis Street. When the woman stopped to look at the damage to her car, the man insisted that she drive to a nearby

I know that, at the time, it is very confusing and one might let their guard down. But when someone keeps running into your car the last thing you should do is stop and get out. The first thing to do is to dial 911.
Wow. Bumping women’s cars and raping them. That’s a good way to get shot,if the victim is packing heat.
This is happening in Texas. One of these days, if they don’t catch him first, he’s liable to rear-end someone who will greet him with the business end of a .45.

I’ve told this story before but will repeat it for those who haven’t heard it.
Many years ago I was Chief of Paramedics for a large Florida County. I always had a radio on me, especially when I was away from the car. One night I was in a convenience store picking up something to drink when a young man in jeans and a sweatshirt and baseball cap came in. He spent a lot of time looking at me while I was paying and when I left the store he followed me out to my car. He showed me a badge and said he was a deputy sheriff and asked why I had the radio in the hip pocket of my pants. I explained I was on duty for the county paramedics and that was just a handy way to carry it. He was very polite and told me that I was endangering myself and others who might be in that store late at night like that if an armed robber were to come into the store. He said if the radio started talking after the guy was in the store he would not know I was a paramedic and might well think me to be police, in which case he could panic and start shooting! Bingo, I thought about it for about 2 seconds and realized how right he was! I thanked him profusely and made it a point of leaving the radio in the car when I was only going in someplace for a few minutes.
A valuable lesson that was thankfully learned without pain or problems, but it could so easily have been one learned at great expense.
I see walking around in shirts or other clothing that ID you as law enforcement the same way. And, it could make it really difficult for an officer to handle a dicey situation, not knowing if you were really LE and having to contend with that spit second of distraction during which the real bad guy might be able to draw and fire or run away.
Can’t happen soon enough to this dirt bag.
I just hope it doesn’t result in gunfire following an innocent fender bender.
They did this back in the late 80’s and early 90’s over in Fort Worth and they’d bump into the rear of your vehicle at a red light and night . . . in accounting we sometimes worked late at the end of the month . . . I carried a Colt .357 under the drivers side of my truck and IF they’d have bumped me, they’d have found out real quick they bumped the wrong little girl. I still have that gun today. :)
But it isn't fashion ware. It is called impersonating an officer.
A fake ID doesn't have to "convincingly real" just as counterfeit money" doesn't have to pass the smell test to be prosecutable.
And people have hit people deliberately for a number of reasons. It is an old tactic. There was a man in my city who was caught hitting cars in parking lots (at a driving range) where he would then rob them when they went to exchange information.
It's all about getting people to lower their guard.

That's going to be the second thing I do. #1 option won't take 30 minutes to arrive.
This went on for a while and I started to get really scared. I'd watch the guy in my rearview mirror and he was gesturing, flipping me off, indicating that I should pull over. Yeah, right. He was close enough that I could see his face clearly in the rearview mirror. I slowed down, hoping he would just go around me, and again he pulled up next to me. This time I sped up, and he stayed with me. I got up to 80 mph and saw an oncoming truck, so I actually sped up and slowed down to keep the guy from moving behind me. (Stupid, I know, but I was really pissed off at that point.) He finally swerved like he was going to hit me, I slammed on the brakes and he ended up in front of me. I took down his license plate number, writing on my dashboard so he could see me. He took off like a bat out of hell.
When I got to the office, I was shaking and told my boss what happened. He called the cops right there and I gave the officer a complete description of the guy. The officer called me back to tell me that the truck had traced to a woman in Simi Valley, a dead end. I never heard anything more.
A few weeks later, I learned that they had arrested an illegal alien driving a truck of the exact same description as the one I had seen. He had raped several women by running their cars off the road and then attacking them on the side of the road.
I'll never know for sure, but I like to think I had something to do with him getting arrested.
One of the first things I learned about driving: don’t stop for an accident if you’d be alone with a strange man.
I’ve had to apply this rule quite a few times over the years. Cops have always accepted the reasoning; they have daughters and wives they counsel the same.

That's called Crime Scene #2 and you have to do everything in your power to not be forced to leave the original Crime Scene. A lot of people do not understand this.
