Very cute...the dog seems really aware of how small and fragile that kitten is.

Not shown, at 1:15 the dog tears the kitten apart and eats it at 1:45 the camera is shown laying sideways on the floor with the owner’s arm outstretched and gasping for air.

The animal channel had a video of a female lioness being groomed by a baby hoofed animal - it was licking her ears and could have been a gazelle type critter. This was in the bush, in the Kalahari. The analysis was that the orphaned baby didn't move fast enough to trigger the chase instinct of the cat.

Pit bulls and big cats have one thing in common. They have hair-trigger instincts and can go 'off' at any moment no matter how docile and 'civilized' their surface behaviour may appear.
