That’s just silliness. There are millions of pit bulls around today, and many idiot owners are trying to make them killers without much success. From the CDC report, the average number of human fatalities has not risen since pit bulls became popular. The number one dog on the list gets replaced every so often by the next popular dog, and according to the AVMA, the CDC, the NCRC, and many other animal behavior experts, the number one most common factor in every dog attack is the care of the dog.
Pit bulls are so numerous that if they really were all bad, there would be millions of attacks from them, and since the media reports every one they can find, they don’t even put a dent in the 13 thousand daily attacks reported by public health officials.
The ATTS has ranked pit bulls above the average for all dogs, meaning their temperament is just as good as, or better than, many other breeds people consider friendly.

Well, I thought it was really cute. That dog was no danger to kitteh. Obviously they’ll be lifelong friends when kitteh grows up. I’ve seen mama cats treat a kitten more roughly. You could see how careful the dog was with kitteh.
