I'm one helluva dedicated NCIS fan and I was wondering what y'alls favorite episode is..
The most shocking episode was the assassination of Kate.
I liked her. I never did hear why they chose to make her exist so permanent.

that one got me too..I’ve tried to find out, according to websites, why they permanently wrote her out and haven’t been able to find out why..
Call of Silence with Charles Durning as a WW2 medal of honor recipient.
It’s on right now and no matter how many times I watch it, I still cry.

Any episode with Gibb’s retired boss, Agent Franks (the guy living in Mexico).
I was shocked at that one and didn’t figure they could bring in a replacement just as good, but they did...
Franks was in several different episodes, he’s good.
I was hoping they’d bring him out of retirement to become the new Director!
Was also shocked at the end of one season when they broke up the team....figured they’d jumped the shark. The team was great, hope the new one pans out...
Hard to pick a favorite, all of them are really well done. I liked Kate too and her getting killed off was a real surprise. I need to open up the rest of the DVD sets for a refresher.
Franks is a guy with common sense..seems like he’d of been a good fit for the new director..
Haven’t seen that one yet but definitely NCIS is the favorite series of this household. What great characters and actors.

An Agency Director in DC needs to be politically correct and play the game. Neither the Franks character, and the Gibbs character for that matter are suited for that.
seems to me that’s what DC needs..a dose of what’s real and not what they want it to be..
I like the episode where Abby has to stay with McGee because her old boyfriend is stalking her.
I think the actress who played Kate wanted to leave the show, so that’s why her character was written out. That episode shocked me.

NCIS “agents” are NEVER popular with Fleet Sailors.
