Brits are among the ugliest people in the world... according to an exclusive website which only allows 'beautiful' people to join.
Less than one in eight UK men (12 per cent) and just three in 20 women (15 per cent) who have applied to BeautifulPeople.com have been accepted as members.
Existing members of the website rate how attractive potential members are over a 48-hour provisional period, when applicants upload a recent photograph and a short personal profile.
They are rated by members of the opposite sex, who have four options to describe how attractive they think the hopeful is - 'Yes definitely', 'Hmmm yes, OK', 'Hmmm no, not really' and 'NO definitely NOT'.
Swedish men have proved the most successful applicants, with two-thirds (65 per cent) of those putting themselves forward being accepted.
Norwegian women are considered the most beautiful with more than three-quarters (76 per cent) making the grade.
Since the website was opened to UK members 295,000 people have applied, with only 35,000 being approved.

Actually, women in New Jersey are sexier than anywhere in the South, barring Louisiana (I don’t consider Texas to be southern, it is a region all to itself). At one time, the South may have had good looking women, now they are increasingly(not entirely) obese WalMartians.

The South, sir, has such an abundance of beautiful women that we have to ship a large number of them every year to New York for cultural beautification purposes. It's an uphill battle to put it mildly when you consider all those fat, fat, fat Italians and Puerto Ricans but our girls are brave in their missionary work, tough as it is.
Who cares about Euro trash cheering? Surely not the British.

Why slag off other races?
For your information, “Brits” are actually English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish, not just English.
There is no such thing as a totally English person, as they all are of mixed heritage. As are the majority of other races, in various countries.
How many people have traced their heritage to find that they are of mixed race?
Whoever started this debate should look to their own heritage before trying to say they are “better” than any other.
You have only got to look at the beliefs of Adolf Hitler to see what that led to!

Oh I know, this is silly, and yes I am well aware that all you named including the Welsh, such as Zeta-Jones, are in truth “Brits.”
This was started for who knows what reason — some website started by people who think they are ‘beautiful’ is out there and ‘members’ decided Brits were ugliest people (women, I assume) and Norwegians most beautiful.
It’s foolish, and meaningless, and wrong, but I only answered as I felt like nitpicking about Zeta-Jones. I also corrected someone else who posted a picture of the Italian Sophia Loren claiming she was a Brit and an exception to British ugliness. It’s all ridiculous. Don’t take it seriously.
This thread should be dropped — I thought it was...yesterday.

I'm of mixed ancestry, being of Scottish and English descent, although we suspect there is a Welsh in the family woodpile.

She's female. Whether she's still fertile after the Hunter S. Thompson-esque quantities of drugs she's taken is a question whose answer Man was not meant to know.
Even when considering the suburbs, I still see more fatties in my trips to TN, Alabama, and Georgia than I do anywhere in the tri-state area.
Texas and Louisiana have some hot women though.
OMG, sorry -- and this is from someone who lived in West Hollywood for three years and has seen her share of virtually trans-everythings. I still would have laid big bets on Amy's enormous and feet telling the tale.
But perhaps the website's assessment of most Brits is on the money and in a whole other league than my world -- although I still admit long past crushes on two handsome Englishmen who looked nothing like either side of this horror story.
No need to apologize - If I didn't know, I'd ask for proof she's human.
